Human King

Chapter 127: Wanwan

Chapter 127: Wanwan

Whoooo.

The wind blew in this place, and it swept up the smoke that was flying in the air.

The smoke was so thick that it looked like it was a fog that was created by some strong monster.

That was how it looked like, and that was not all.

Even though the wind was still blowing and it was making the smoke go out, the smoke just wouldn't fade away completely.

And that was because of the smoke that was still coming out of Dawn's body.

Although Dawn has risen his body now, the smoke that was coming out of his body was still there.

And this event of smoke coming out of his body probably means something.

At least, that's what Karkas thought as he carefully observed Dawn.

"Is he...recuperating?" Karkas murmured as he narrowed his eyes.

He didn't ask anyone, but he heard a voice that answered him.

"Probably! You remember the fight that the king had against the chief, right? When the king used that dragon to heal his body!"

And when Karkas whipped his head towards the source of the voice, he soon saw Ika's face that was all brightened up.

After all, even though she delivered a piece of bad news, there's no way she wouldn't be happy now that Dawn is up.

"Now that you mention it..." Karkas murmured once more as he whipped his head back towards Dawn's way.

Karkas was familiar with what Ika said, and he also remembers it very well.

It was about the Aura that Dawn used to heal his wounds, and when he did, smoke emitted out of his body.

And this smoke coming out of his body now was awfully similar to that.

'So, he's healing himself...' Karkas thought as he looked at the smoke that was coming out.

Even though Dawn's life was on the line during that battle, the smoke that came out of his body wasn't this much.

His injuries back then were also pretty bad as Dawn's blood made a pool in the ground back then.

And Karkas knew that the smoke coming out of Dawn's body was the sign of how bad Dawn's injury was.

And the smoke that came out back then couldn't even compare to the smoke coming out now.

'I thought Moris already healed the king...but to think this is how bad his injury is...'

Karkas thought as he bit his lips. He couldn't even imagine what kind of pains the king had to go through to stay alive.

After all, the smoke was just that harsh, and if one didn't know any better, one might even think that this is a fog.

It was then that Karkas remembered something.

He remembered the time when he failed to meet his king's expectations.

That was why he whipped his head back to Ika and shouted out loud for the goblins to hear.

"Go, get some meat or something! Get all the meat that we have right now and bring it here!"

And when Ika heard what Karkas said, she immediately tilted her head.

However, that didn't last long as this was an order coming from Karkas.

Although she didn't understand why Karkas wants food, she would still obey it and do her best to fulfill the task given to her.

"Got it!" Ika said as she ran up to get the meat that Karkas wanted.

Karkas just calmly looked at that, and when he confirmed that Ika was gone, he whipped his head back to Dawn.

There was only one reason why Karkas ordered that, and, of course, that was for Dawn.

After all, he remembered the time when Dawn was so hungry that he even specifically ordered Karkas to get some food for him.

Dawn was a goblin, and he could get the food on his own. Karkas knows that very well, and that was why Dawn ordering him to give him food was memorable for Karkas.

Well, everything that Dawn did was remarkable for Karkas.

"Ah! The smoke is getting weaker." Karkas said as he noticed the thickness of the smoke.

The smoke going out of Dawn's body was getting weaker now, and Karkas could see the forest beyond Dawn.

It was only a matter of time until Dawn finishes healing his body.

And Karkas was right in thinking so as Dawn's body stopped emitting smoke.

"King!" Karkas shouted as he ran up to Dawn's bed.

He was able to reach it quickly as he was still a goblin, even if his brain was the one getting enhanced.

Karkas immediately kneeled down on the ground, but he kept his head looking up to see Dawn.

And while he was in that position, Karkas spoke once more.

"King...are you alright now?"

It was then that Dawn finally moved his body. No, he whipped his head towards Karkas.

And when he did, Karkas became scared shitless! Karkas froze on the spot as he thought.

'T-the king...'

The king's eyes are red? Karkas thought as he observed Dawn's blackish eyes.

No, it wasn't even blackish eyes now. It had the shade of red, and even the veins on Dawn's face was red.

His face was turned into a frown, and it was clear as day to Karkas that Dawn was angry.

Right, Dawn was angry as he used his rage to wake himself up forcefully!

"Grrrrr!" Dawn growled as he opened his mouth once more.

And when he did, smoke came out of his mouth as well.

It was as if Dawn's insides were burning right now.

However, that didn't matter to Dawn as he spoke.

"Karkas."

And when Karkas heard Dawn's voice, he immediately bowed his head as he answered.

"Yes, my king."

Even if Karkas was scared, there's no way he would fail in responding to his king's call.

"Bring me food. I'm hungry."

"Yes. It is on the way."

Karkas confidently said those words as he knew that it was indeed on the way.

Dawn then whipped his head in front as he looked at his body.

He then spoke as his red eyes became even more bloodshot as he remembered his anger.

His anger that made Dawn even forget about his hunger.

"I'll fucking kill those dots, I swear!"

Dawn promised revenge on the dots that made him experience the hellish dream.
