Chapter 82: Vampiric Dungeon Diving III
Huge thanks to Monika and Mordred for buying my Patreon! It really means a lot to me! anyways, onto the story!
[3rd POV] [Vampire Dungeon]
'Werewolf' Talia thought with a small smile.
'As tempting as Chef is, I don't really need that sort of thing right now. I need more physical power, and power in general, and Werewolf will be perfect for that, especially when combined with being a Vampire, as I'm sure they'll work well together. While I've already got enough mental power from my other classes, so the Immortal class would be kind of useless right now' Talia thought, as the screen changed.
[Werewolf (Teen Wolf) - Every level increases the users physical capabilities, werewolf powers, natural dominance over other werewolves, etc. The user has their very own werewolf form, in which they can naturally transform into. While in the fully transformed wolf form, the users physical capabilities are 3x stronger. While in their partial transformation (where the users face changes) the user is 1.5x stronger. This multiplier gets stronger the higher the levels. Further evolutions of this werewolf can be obtained. May develop unique/powerful abilities unique to the user. The user can create their own pack, where those that join their pack, may be transformed into a werewolf with the powers of a werewolf and their own species, not losing any of their other powers. For every member of your pack, your physical capabilities are strengthened by 50%]
'... Not bad' Talia thought with a small smile. The pack part was great, as she already had some people in mind to join. Hope, Isabelle, Clary (eventually), Alec (if he wishes), Magnus, and then some people from her previous world. Josie, MG, Kaleb, and potentially even more. She had a lot of ideas involving who to invite to join her pack. Said pack would be large, incredibly so, and would quite literally span multiple universes. As she remembered something, Talia couldn't help but ask 'What happens if I take over someone elses pack?'
[The pack would automatically be considered yours, thus, all members would be strengthened, as would you]
'...Looks like not only am I going to have to take a trip back home, but also to a world with Werewolves...maybe Teen Wolf? It's way weaker than me, but it would definitely have some packs I can take in, and it would be a decent world for Hope and them. Mostly just to learn more about being a Werewolf' Talia thought with a hum, before shrugging.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
'I'll decide that later' Talia decided, before blinking.
The assimilation of the Werewolf class was...sort of forced, but it didn't hurt. It felt...wild? Talia wasn't really sure what the feeling she was getting was, but she didn't mind it too much. It only lasted a few moments, as her eyes flashed a brilliant silver, with the slightest hint of yellow, before stopping.
Talia noticed her improved instincts, strength, and senses. 'Not bad...not as good as Vampire, but certainly not bad. I'm sure it'll get even better after some levels. I'd transform if I could, but I can't use these powers until I leave' Talia thought with a slightly disappointed sigh, as she wanted to practice her new powers.
[Werewolf Starter Pack]
5 Pounds of Mountain Ash
1 Pound of Wolfsbane
Book of Werewolf Legends
'Hmm, go ahead and consume the book, and then claim those 3 levels' Talia thought, slightly disappointed with the starter pack, but not entirely surprised with the items. As there wasn't many items in Teen Wolf that she could be given, that was in relation to Werewolfs.
[Book of Werewolf Legends consumed]
The knowledge only took a few moments to be assimilated and was...pretty much entirely useless. It was just full of legends around werewolves, the only one Talia found interesting was the Legend involving King Lycaon of Arcadia. It was only interesting because it involved literal Gods, and the first Werewolf.
Seeing that her assimilation was finished, Talia got to her feet and began to walk off. All her thousands of familiars followed silently after her.
"Let's get to the Middle Levels" Talia said, causing her familiars to screech in agreeance.
Walking, Talia made her way through the streets of the Low Levels, slowly noticing as the streets began to get nicer, albeit only by a little.
[You have entered the Middle Levels]
'Well that answered that' Talia thought, as she was just about to ask if she was at the middle levels yet or not.
"Spread out and kill every middle level you see. I want you all to go in groups of 5 or more. These middle levels will be a lot stronger than any of you low levels were" Talia said, causing her familiars to screech, before grouping up and running off.
'System, is there only 2500 Middle levels here? Or is there more than that?' Talia inwardly asked.
[There is a total of 3000]
'Hmm, good to know. Looks like I'll be getting another 3000 familiars, rising it to nearly 10k...decently sized, but not enough for some of these future worlds. That, and I doubt the system will let me abuse these familiars for other dungeons in the future' Talia thought with a hum, having decided to abuse the usage of her familiars while she can.
[Level up]
'That was quick...but that should be expected' Talia thought with a small smile, before noticing a familiar dragging a body closer to her.
'So that's a middle level vampire? Not bad, looks quite a bit better than the Low Level ones' Talia thought with a small smile.
Turning the middle level, she watched as it raced off, ready to follow her orders from earlier. 'Time to grind I guess' Talia thought with a grin, as she decided to get her hands dirty for a while.
[A couple of hours later]
Talia breathed in as she sat on a bench. She had been fighting the middle levels for a while now, and was progressing smoothly. With her having already gotten a few hundred added to her growing army.
Kill 2500 Middle Level Vampires [500/2500]
She had also gotten the turning them into familiars done quite quickly. But, she also realized that they took more than just a drop of blood. In order to turn them, she had to imbue it with her magic in order for them to turn. Thankfully this didn't count as her using her other powers, as it was needed to turn them.
Thanks to this, she ended up completing the familiar quest for middle level vampires.
Turn 50 Middle-level vampires into familiars - 8 levels. [Complete]
This made her levels jump to Level 30 in her main class, and level 20 in her subclass. Both of which were rapidly growing in power thanks to her rapidly growing in levels.
She had a feeling that turning them into familiars would have normally been harder, but thanks to the Darkhold and One Ring, it was seemingly made easier. She expected it was due to their incredibly high affinity with dark/evil magic, and dark creatures in general. Anyways, thanks to her rapidly growing her army more and more, Talia could feel her influence over the familiars...grow. It was like her familiar power was slowly growing in power, slowly itching towards an evolution, she just wasn't sure what kind of evolution it was. Whatever it was, she was certain it would be powerful...very powerful.
She had a feeling this applied to her other vampiric powers as well. Due to this, she began to rapidly train her blood manipulation powers, which was...difficult. It was because the vampires that she tried it on, seemingly had some sort of minor control over their own blood, or someone else was controlling their blood, one of the two.
While difficult, she managed to start manipulating their blood after a short while, enough that she could basically pop the blood in a part of their body, obliterating that area. At first this much was difficult, but after doing it a few dozen times, it became easy, and she could do it against them on instinct alone.
She wasn't sure what it was about the dungeon that was allowing her to rapidly grow her
vampiric skills, but whatever it was, she liked it. It could have been the double xp affecting her skills somehow, or maybe the fact that this dungeon was entirely vampiric in nature, but it didn't matter to her either way, as it was working.
The other ability she began to work with, was the one that allowed her to permanently absorb the magic of those she sucked the blood from. And it...worked...well. She had used it only a few times, but she was pretty sure she could now absorb roughly 25% of the magic of those she sucked the blood out of, which was...overpowered to say the least.
It was sort of a waste to use it on the middle level vampires. But she planned to use it on every High Level vampire and above, to get the most out of this place.
Sighing she stretched slightly, before getting to her feet. All of her familiars had been summoned back to her shadows, ready to be summoned again in the future.
'Time to return home. Otherwise Hope's gonna scold me' Talia thought with a sweatdrop, realizing that she had definitely been in the dungeon for a bit too long.
'System, take me back'
That's the end of the chapter!
Sorry to those who wanted her to choose chef, I plan on her picking a subclass like that next time. As it'll be helpful when combined with another class she'll be getting in the future. Next chapter will be roughly the same length, and will probably be the date between Clary and
Talia.
She and her mates will probably be leaving back to TVD within a few chapters, so be ready for that. The next world will happen within a few chapters.
Also, should I genuinely make Kara (Supergirl) her mate (LAST mate)? It's honestly an appealing idea, as Kara is an adorable cinnamonroll who deserves someone better than Mon-
El (I don't really like him, lol).
This was supposed to be uploaded 4 days ago...but I forgot like a dumbass. So instead of a triple upload like I intended, y'all are getting a quadruple upload lol.
Anyways, have a good day, see you tomorrow!
