[Location: Zombie Dungeon] [3rd POV]
[Powerful Spell - Killing Curse]
Upon choosing her powerful spell, Talia felt knowledge of the spell flood her brain. The spell was powerful to say the least. It pretty much directly attacked the soul, making it impossible to survive a direct hit unless you're in a situation like Harry. Even the Originals could theoretically die from this spell, as, as far as she knows, they aren't immune to spells that directly attack the soul.
"Damn...this spell is a hell of a lot stronger than I thought. The fact that it attacks the soul means that I could theoretically kill just about anyone as long as it hits them. System, now that that is over, consume all the books, equip the ring, and claim the Fiendfyre spell" spoke out Talia. She was ready to finish this dungeon now, as she had been in here for hours, and she was beginning to get tired of being here.

[Ring of Instant Death Resistance - Equipped]
Grunting in pain, Talia's eyebrow twitched at the influx of knowledge. The sheer amount of knowledge was comparable to that of her first time consuming the books, but it didn't hurt as much thankfully. The books that were the most helpful were definitely the occlumency book, and Snape's book. Both were good, learning Occlumency would be for the best. And as she expected, the instructions were simple enough, she simply needed to create a false set of memories as a sort of "faux Layer" around her actual ones.
Doing this was actually quite easy, primarily due to her system already strengthening her mind to an extent. Not to mention that with each level, her ability to comprehend magic increases, her comprehension in terms of Harry Potter magic was superior to that of Dumbledore. While he was level 75 in power, he didn't have his comprehension skills raised with every level, all because she had a system and he didn't.
As the pain ceased, Talia kept her eyes closed as she began to build her occlumency shields. It was simple enough, as she focused on building her false "layer" or in this case, it was in the form of a large library. The false memories that lined the library were simply memories that she "created" fake ones of this current life, none of which showed magic. This false library still had various defenses of course.
For one, in order to even access these false memories, one would have to utter a keyword, which was "Reincarnation". Then there were also the "guardians" that she created, in the form of dementors, daleks, and acromantula. They couldn't come out of her occlumency "library" as she called it.
If someone was to want to access the true library however, they would have to go to a statue of Lucifer from the Lucifer show. Then they would have to say three words. "System" and her first and last name from her past life. Which they had absolutely no way of knowing. If they did somehow get through this. Her inner library, the true one, had dragons, basilisks, and various other creatures guarding it. It was also completely dark inside, and to open her memories, they would have to unlock the lock on them, which can only be done through a combination lock. Each memory has a different combination, all of which she knows perfectly. There were also plenty of false codes, libraries, and puzzles hidden in both rooms.
Normally, this wouldn't be something she can make, but due to the system, her drastically heightened comprehension, her magic, her being a reincarnator, and probably more than just that, she can do this. Of course, someone sufficiently powerful can just bulldoze through them forcefully, but that isn't exactly easy to do. Only someone who has immense telepathy skills, like Charles Xavier or Jean Grey, could do something like this with decent amounts of ease. Of course, this library of hers will get stronger and stronger, and will grow with more and more defenses in the future.
If one was to watch her do this, and they were from the Harry Potter universe, they would call her an absolute monster. As usually it takes weeks to months to create something like this, but she did it with such ease. The only way she could do it so easily is due to her own emotional control, and all the aforementioned bonuses from being a reincarnator.
After what was unknowingly two hours of sitting, she had finished her occlumency shields, which would be ridiculously strong in a world like this one. She could now think faster, process information quicker, is immune to most basic forms of mind control, truth serums don't really work against her, and numerous other bonuses.
Standing she stretched after sitting for so long "God that took forever, but now that my mind is sufficiently defended, I shouldn't have to worry about mind reading. I also doubt the system would allow its existence to be known just like that, so it probably also has defenses in place that I don't know of"
"Alright system, show me my status one last time before I can ditch this shit hole. Also, why hasn't it said I completed this dungeon?"

[This dungeon has another upper section to it. This section is stronger than the current one, and has better rewards than this one. The new section may be challenged in 1 day. The system suggests for the host to rest]
"Getting to level 52 in not even an entire day is ridiculous, just goes to show how overpowered this system actually is. Waiting another day to do the next part of this dungeon is fine. If I go at this pace, I should have this class maxed out after completing that section of the dungeon. Although, if there is a wait time for dungeons, chances are I can't do the next dungeon for multiple days, or even an entire week" Said Talia, reading the system's reply thoroughly. "System, bring me out of here please" Talia said, now that there wasn't anything else to do here.
Once more she felt a pulling sensation, before disappearing from the dungeon.
"Fucking finally" Talia said, flopping down onto her couch.
"That took far longer than I thought it would" Talia commented, looking at the clock that read 11:32 pm. She initially entered at just before 9:00 am. Meaning she was in there for longer than 12 hours. The rewards were more than worth it, but it took so damn long.
"Time to eat and then pass the fuck out" Talia huffed out, as she got up to make her very late
dinner.
She decided on a simple meal of chicken, a baked potato, and asparagus.
Biting into her chicken she sighed in content, happy with the food. "God I needed this" Talia sighed out, continuing to eat while she sat and watched youtube. Thankfully the system seemed to have let her have access to her netflix and all her previous streaming services.
She decided on watching Kitchen Nightmares. She snorted as Gordon bashed the restaurant's food in every imaginable way. "Nothing like eating a good meal while watching Gordon Ramsey bash the hell out of idiots"
Biting into her chicken again, Talia decided to actually think over what her future game plan was. As tomorrow she planned on completing the dungeon, but she was also anticipating the dungeon being locked for at least a few days, to even a week.
"Getting into the school shouldn't be all that difficult, all I really need to do is approach Dorian or Emma while they are in Mystic Falls, and that should hopefully be enough. Show them a bit of magic and wham! I'm a student at Salvatore boarding school. Not sure how good their classes will be, but going there is for the best either way. Plus, I kinda wanna see what type of magic books they have there" Said Talia to herself. Like many, she quite enjoyed speaking her thoughts out loud.
"If it really comes down to it, I guess I can just go up to their front gate or some shit. But I'd much rather just go the Emma route. She is a pretty kind person, and seems accepting enough. I can also imagine her hiding the fact that I am enrolling until the last second. So getting into contact with her would probably be for the best. Just saying I am a witch who uses a special type of magic should be enough. System, do the Harry Potter books/movies exist in this universe?" Questioned Talia.
[The movies/books of Harry Potter do still exist in this universe, but the user doesn't have to worry about them noticing. As the spells and the ways they are used in the books/movies in this world are fundamentally different from the canon ones]
'Hmm, so while it does exist, it is different enough that they won't be able to put two and two
together. At least not very easily. That should be good enough for me. Then going down the Emma route, while showing off a bit of my "special" type of magic, should be more than enough to enroll...hopefully. Wait..." "System how old am I?" Talia couldn't help but realize that she doesn't even know how old she is, she never checked if the system set her at the
proper age or not.
[The user is 17, slightly older than Hope Mikaelson]
"Oookay, thank god" Talia sighed out in relief. Happy that the system didn't make her the
wrong age for whatever reason. This meant she could enroll into the school without worries over her age.
Biting into the last bit of her chicken, Talia sighed. Getting up she cleaned the dishes, using a bit of that household magic she learnt to hasten the process. After cleaning the dishes, she began to turn off the tv and lights and moved upstairs.
Getting undressed, she got into some comfortable sleepwear, brushed her teeth, and flopped down onto her California king sized bed. 'Well today was eventful, I died, was reborn, went
into a dungeon and slaughtered over a thousand zombies, including a zombie dragon. And I am now rather strong, all in a single day...hopefully it keeps being this fun' Talia thought, as she began to drift off.

And that's that chapter done. This chapter was shorter than the last one, but was more so her
getting her rewards, getting her occlumency, and her thinking over her future. Next chapter she will finish the dungeon, and then a timeskip will probably occur in the
chapter after that. By the time canon begins, she will definitely be pretty overpowered. As in pure power, she will be stronger than Dumbledore, even with the Elder Wand, all while being 17, and only training for a few days. This is the effect of the overpowered system.
She will be the strongest person at the Salvatore school by the time she joins it. As, from what
I know, Tribrid Hope is strong, but not decimating entire city blocks with a single spell strong.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Love Interest is Hope. Potentially more in the future. But Hope is far too adorable to pass up on. Not to mention, she deserves someone better than Landon of all people. There is a very high chance that Landon is going to be bashed to hell in this fanfic. As I don't
care for this character at all. He is the most annoying, dull character in the entirety of Legacies, and one of the worst in the entirety of TVD.
Each episode of Legacies will be roughly 1-3 chapters, depending on the episode. Certain
episodes won't happen, or won't be covered (like the one where Lizzie goes to that alternate universe or whatever it's called).
I am planning on the next class being one of the following: Circle Mage, Dark Circle Mage, Ancient Wizard, Witch, or Sorcerer (MCU). She will gain primarily magic based classes, as she really enjoys magic, if her being excited to read books on magic didn't make that obvious.
