Chapter 161: Chapter 158: The Cyberium

[3rd POV]

Turns out giving the fruit to Kara had brought about exactly what Talia was expecting. An absolute fucking monster. Like, a genuinely insane combination.

How did Talia know this? Well, after going to an uninhabited planet with Kara, and eating it alongside the girl. They had tested their new fruit, and Talia watched as Kara, after a single punch, leveled an entire island by accident, while holding back. Talia herself could level planets with the ability, but that's besides the point. The Kryptonian had gotten a huge power up, one that Talia knew would only continue to grow, making the girl more and more of a monster in the future.

And she hadn't even given her magic or aura yet. Once she did that, she knew that Kara had a high potential of surpassing Hope who was only stronger due to the magic that she had.

Kara herself had been...terrified. She feared the new power that she had gotten, and had pretty much asked Talia if she could take it back, which Talia could, but she wouldn't. The power was simply too helpful for Kara, and controlling it was something that Kara could learn over the next couple of weeks before they left. It would be a good thing to have against the future foes, like the Daxamites.

With the newfound levels of power, Kara had to train a decent bit in order to get it under control. Mostly so she didn't accidentally level the house or something, as she'd rather not get someone hurt because of it. A simple clenching of fists could accidentally activate it, and then obliterate her surroundings. Hence, the two stayed on that planet for a couple of days in order to properly get Kara used to the power, which Talia had foreseen, so she had warned the girls beforehand just in case.

The power itself was mostly limited to punches and gripping at the moment, nothing like some of the more advanced crap that Whitebeard could do, and nothing compared to what the fruit could become in the new future.

With this, a couple of weeks had passed, weeks spent training Kara in her new power, weeks spent getting ready to leave, weeks spent continuing her progress on the cure for cancer, and getting extremely close, and weeks spent training the twins as well. And over these two weeks, she ended up completing the primary training for the twins, completing the quest and netting her some new items.

Step 6 - Teach them to master x-ray vision

Step 7 - Teach them to master all their kryptonian powers

Step 6 Rewards - 7 Levels

Step 7 Rewards - 20 Levels, 1 title, 1 item

From this she had gotten a pretty interesting title, and an...incredible item. One that was...insane, but also one that would take her a long long time to understand or properly use. [The Trainer – This is a title symbolising the user's nature as a trainer of others. When training others, the one being trained has their comprehension and learning speeds boosted by 2x]

[The Cyberium - A powerful object from the Doctor Who universe. The cyberium holds the combined history and knowledge of the entirety of the Cybermen race. When equipped, the users intelligence is strengthened massively, grants the user even faster comprehension speeds, learning speeds, mental computation speeds and more. When equipped this item can also strengthen technopathic abilities of the user and grants immunity to those same abilities. This item can mutate further over time through various methods, and is housed within the users very blood]

[Devil Fruit 3 - Pika Pika no Mi (Glint Glint Fruit): Is a devil fruit that allows the user control, transform into, and create light. The user can move at speeds of light through this fruit, and can transport themselves through reflections]

She had, of course, claimed and consumed this fruit, as it had some genuine uses to her, the speed being the biggest one. The Cyberium had been equipped almost instantly, and she decided to continue her Time Lord class, as it was giving her some genuine increases in intelligence, increases that were quite noticeable.

The thing that really got Talia's happiness was the Cyberium, the thing was...incredible, genuinely incredible. She couldn't understand half of the knowledge held within the thing, but she could tell it was absolutely incredible in size. It was so far beyond the Kryptonians' technology that there wasn't even a point in comparing them.

She could already see how many super weapons were in the thing and the scariest part was that Cybermen were nothing in comparison to the Daleks or the Gallifreyans. The Time Lords had technology far beyond even what she understood, technology that could do something like wipe out magic in an entire universe and beyond, to creating weapons that can obliterate reality with ease.

With this new knowledge, she had a new source of weapons and technology to work with, technology beyond anything she had ever seen, besides her Tardis, said Tardis was sitting outside her home, waiting until she used it again.

Over these past couple of weeks, another huge event had happened, one Talia had been keeping a close eye on. One that was incredibly important and one that would cause another event to happen within the next few days.

Lex Luthor had been freed from prison, and he had been keeping a close eye on Lois Lane, and her family. All because of them putting him in prison, which for all intent and purposes, seemed like the right call at the time, and any other person would agree. Peia had used her sound manipulation to frame the man, getting him locked up, all because of how powerful he was politically, and how much hold he had over them, and Metropolis as a whole.

Over these two weeks, she had also begun work on her personal dimension, and the amenities needed for the family that now lived there. The first thing was a proper power grid, which was simple enough for her, and was made through some advanced pieces of technology she had gotten from the Kryptonians. The water was easier enough than the power grid, and didn't take long to make. The internet was the hardest part, as it had to connect to the outside world and the outside internet.

Her internet was formed through a powerful satellite she had made, that had an adolescent AI within, one that would automatically gather and collect all information ever gathered on the internet of the world she travels to. This was done through a mixture of technology, runes, and magic. This gave the family access to the internet of their own world, and soon enough, the internet of other worlds as well.

But at the moment Talia was back home, in the basement as she looked over her most recent testing of the cure for cancer, watching as the test got incredibly close to eliminating the cancer in her test subject, so close that she knew that she was only a few more tries away from officially completing the cure.

Leaning back in her chair, Talia let out a small sigh, knowing that today she would be meeting a genuine foe for her, and one that she would have to be careful around, for whatever kills it only makes it stronger.

Gazing at the test results one last time, Talia only had one thought on her mind.

'...Soon...soon Doomsdays adaption will be mine'
