Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 201: Construction of the Cat and Mouse Race Car Begins!

Chapter 201: Construction of the Cat and Mouse Race Car Begins!

Bai Song sat sprawled in a white plastic chair at the roadside stall, watching intently as Tom and Jerry went about their actions. What he witnessed was quite astonishing Tom and Jerry had retrieved an entire heap of tools, forming a small mountain about a meter high. It was truly a terrifying sight, making Bai Song begin to question the limits of these two creatures.

Was it an endless supply, as long as they kept digging?

Or perhaps, even Tom and Jerry had their limits?

Regardless of where their limits lay, the tools they had already retrieved were more than sufficient for this feeble, pitiable, helpless electric scooter. Bai Song started to wonder if this many tools were really necessary for modifying a simple electric scooter.

No matter how Bai Song thought about it, one thing was clear: after preparing the tools, the next step was to dismantle the electric scooter. It was common knowledge that some disassembly was required before modifying a vehicle, but typically, the frame and similar components were left intact.

However... observing the actions of the two creatures, Bai Song couldn't help but feel that they were planning to dismantle the electric scooter into its individual components. The specifics of their actions were obscured from Bai Song's view, as he could only see Tom and Jerry each wielding a wrench as they approached the electric scooter. Once they began the disassembly process, a cloud of dust and debris enveloped the entire vehicle.

It wasn't due to accumulated dust from the electric scooter being parked in the garage without movement for years, as Bai Song speculated. That explanation was pure nonsense. Who had ever seen a vehicle being dismantled to release a cloud of dust that completely shrouded the entire scooter, all of it white in color? This was no ordinary dust stirred up during cleaning.

Even more peculiar was that this cloud of dust didn't disperse; it remained stationary, unaffected by the airflow. It became a natural mosaic, obscuring Bai Song's view of Tom and Jerry's disassembly spectacle. Occasionally, Bai Song caught glimpses of Tom's hand wielding a wrench or Jerry's foot holding a hammer, emerging momentarily from the mist. However, these glimpses were fleeting, disappearing as quickly as they appeared, as Tom and Jerry continued their disassembly work.

"Ding ding ding, thud thud, crack! Creak~, creak~crack~."

Amidst the cacophony of noise, the fog eventually dispersed. What lay before Bai Song was a jumble of scattered parts that had once been the electric scooter. Observing this scene, Bai Song was left flabbergasted. Were they modifying the vehicle or dismantling it?

If it was the latter, their efficiency was truly remarkable. From retrieving the tools to breaking down the electric scooter into a pile of tiny parts, it had taken merely around ten seconds a speed that rivaled the forceful dismantling of a vehicle with a sledgehammer.

However, after dismantling the scooter, it was time for assembly.

Utilizing the original materials of the electric scooter, Tom and Jerry swiftly constructed a frame that closely resembled an F1 race car. Interestingly, this time there was no annoying white smoke; everything unfolded right before Bai Song's eyes. Every detail of their construction process was presented to Bai Song.

Of course, even if it was presented to him, Bai Song wouldn't be able to replicate their construction techniques. After all, this wasn't something anyone could learn to do well. As he watched the F1-like frame take shape before his eyes, Bai Song's face lit up, and he couldn't help but applaud, "Well done, well done, 666!"

At this moment, Bai Song had transformed into a passive observer who could only shout "666." After all, with his left leg paralyzed, there was no way he could help by crawling over and tightening screws. He didn't want to be despised by the cat and mouse for his slow speed.

Thus, Bai Song chose to simply watch Tom and Jerry's actions from a distance.

However, gradually, Bai Song began to feel that something was amiss, a thought that crept into his mind.

'Wait a minute, didn't they only use parts from the electric scooter? Why, after constructing a frame for an F1 race car several times larger than the scooter, are there still two-thirds of the parts left?'

Bai Song might not be an expert, but he was left utterly astonished by this turn of events.

Ignoring whatever Bai Song might be thinking, Tom and Jerry continued their seamless coordination in what they called "modification" which, in reality, amounted to creating a new vehicle.

Tom produced a cylindrical metal barrel seemingly out of thin air, unmistakably intended to hold oil. Then, he brought out twenty-four iron pipes, each of which he sawed to a length matching the barrel's dimensions. These pipes were then stuffed into the circular opening that had been dismantled. The circular piece was riddled with twenty-four holes after being sawed by hand, and Tom then reattached it.

Consequently, when viewed from above, the metal barrel now resembled a missile bay on an armed helicopter.

Tom lifted the missile bay with both hands and firmly affixed it to the left side of the vehicle. Simultaneously, Jerry, who had taken position atop the F1 vehicle, nimbly approached with a welding torch larger than itself.

"Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle, sizzle!"

Sparks and lightning danced as Jerry deftly wielded the welding torch, attaching the cylindrical object, originally a metal barrel, to the left side of the vehicle with remarkable precision.

Subsequently, Tom produced a linen bag from Bai Song's blind spot and placed it on the ground. He then opened the bag and began extracting various weapons the very ones Bai Song had retrieved from Red Archer's behind, a collection of counterfeit Noble Phantasms.

Well... although these might be counterfeit products, you could say they were still Noble Phantasms.

After retrieving all those counterfeit Noble Phantasms, Tom proceeded to place them one by one into the metal barrel that had just been welded onto the left side of the vehicle.

The number of counterfeit Noble Phantasms was twenty-four, coincidentally matching the pre-fabricated ammunition compartments within the metal barrel. It's hard to believe that Tom hadn't secretly counted the number of weapons beforehand; anyone would find it difficult to imagine otherwise.

Thus, although the main structure of the vehicle wasn't fully complete, the first ammunition rack was already installed, with all twenty-four counterfeit Noble Phantasms in place.

Following that, another round of hammering and tinkering commenced, bringing the assembly of the vehicle's main structure to completion.

However... no matter how Bai Song thought about it, he couldn't wrap his head around why Tom had enough spare parts to attach four wheels to a vehicle that originally had only two. Moreover, the total count of vehicle parts was completely mismatched. Turning the parts of a small electric scooter into an F1 race car? It was a case of making something out of nothing.

To top it off, the newly constructed vehicle even boasted a whopping ten-cylinder engine!

The size of this single engine was nearly equivalent to the entire volume of the electric scooter before it was dismantled.

As Bai Song observed the continuously taking shape F1-style combat vehicle before him, he lowered his gaze to the electric scooter that Tom and Jerry hadn't yet approached, filled with deep skepticism.

Could this piece of junk... actually power a racing car with ten cylinders?
