Type-Moon, but the Servant is Tom

Chapter 168: A brand new event!

Chapter 168: A brand new event!

In response to Siegfried's suggestion, Gudako's eyes lit up, figuratively, as she felt relieved that he was willing to give her special treatment as her former Servant. She was grateful for this privilege and knew that loyalty could sometimes go beyond the bounds of a formal master-servant relationship.

However, even though she was delighted, Gudako kept a serious expression on her face and asked, "And what would be the cost for this favor?"

Mashu, standing beside Gudako, also looked anxious, eagerly awaiting Siegfried's response.

"Cost? What do you mean by cost?" Siegfried was confused by Gudako's question.

"What do I mean? It's obvious. What will it cost me to meet Gilgamesh?" Gudako clarified, feeling a bit puzzled by Siegfried's response.

Siegfried's counterquestion left Gudako wondering why he was playing dumb, seemingly not understanding the situation. If it weren't for her current weakened state and the fact that she had already sold Red Archer, resulting in a Chaos-Evil alignment of 33.333%, she would have confronted Siegfried earlier when he blocked her.

Now, her Chaos-Evil alignment was not enough to activate her Chaos-Evil form in a battle against Siegfried. If she were to defeat him and sell off another teammate during the fight, she could reach a 50% Chaos-Evil alignment, making her even stronger than before when she punched Spike into the ground.

However, Gudako didn't want to sell off any more of her teammates. With only two remaining, losing one would leave her with no other Servants to command, and that was unacceptable.

Patiently, Gudako reiterated, "I mean, what price do I need to pay to meet Gilgamesh?"

"Oh, I see. You mean that." Siegfried finally understood and nodded. "In that case, there is a way."

Gudako, relieved that Siegfried finally got it, thought to herself that if she had her full strength, she would have taught him a lesson earlier. But for now, she decided to continue the conversation calmly.

If Gudako were to take off the wig on her head at this moment, it would be a true depiction of a sweating soybean in a realistic version.

"My point is... look over there," Siegfried said as he pointed to a spot about ten meters away. There stood a 2-meter tall and 1.5-meter wide billboard with the words "EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise Hot Passion Master Tournament" written on it.

"That's right, this is the first official event of 'EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise' and it will start precisely at 11 a.m. tomorrow," Siegfried explained. "This event allows you to earn a large number of points, which can be used for drawing lotteries or exchanging for QP. You can also obtain Gold Tickets, Silver Tickets, and Bronze Tickets. These three types of tickets can be exchanged for materials of gold, silver, and bronze levels, and you can also..."

Initially, Gudako listened attentively to Siegfried's words, but gradually her expression fell. She became impatient, thinking that this guy's lines were too long! The lines were full of common sense. She had participated in countless similar lottery events before, to the extent that she was almost bald. Did she need him to explain the uses of these items to her?

Moreover, when she heard the terms mentioned by Siegfried, her liver felt like it was throbbing with pain.

"Skip! Skip! Skip!" Gudako interrupted Siegfried, calling out 'skip' three times in a row, and then immediately said, "Don't talk about all these unnecessary things. Get to the point!"

"I just want to know how to... meet Gilgamesh!"

"Oh, I see. I'm sorry about that," Siegfried apologized and continued, "It's very simple. After the event ends, the boss will attend the award ceremony and personally present the trophy to the champion."

Hearing this, Gudako felt relieved and then her expression turned dark. "You see? Why didn't you say that earlier?"

"I was just trying to..."

"Why didn't you say it earlier?"

"I..."

"So you should have said it earlier!"

"... I'm really sorry."

"Whatever!" Leaving these words behind, Gudako walked towards the billboard with a grumble, seemingly annoyed by Siegfried's chatty nature. C Chulainn followed her footsteps.

The thing she hated the most was when someone stopped her from being chatty, followed closely by someone being even chattier than her!

Mashu paused for a moment, bowed slightly to Siegfried, and said, "I apologize for Gudako's rudeness." Then she caught up with Gudako.

Meanwhile, Gudako carefully examined the content of the billboard to see what this event was all about. According to the information on the billboard, tomorrow at 11 a.m., the 'EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise' would host a grand-scale racing competition called the 'EUO Super Deluxe Seaside Paradise Hot Passion Master Tournament.'

At first glance, it didn't seem particularly special, but the rules were clearly stated. Only Servants or combinations of Servants and Masters were allowed to participate; ordinary people were strictly prohibited from joining, or they would be expelled.

It was an almost rule-less racing competition where various wild enemies would appear along the way. Defeating these enemies would earn points and three types of exchange materials.

Additionally, participants were encouraged to bring their own racing vehicles, as the organizers wouldn't provide high-performance cars. Those stubborn enough not to prepare their own vehicles could only choose the bicycles provided by the organizers (note: with training wheels).
