Chapter 850
Chapter 850: Efficient Marketing Strategies
Yvonne rolled her eyes then raised her brow while looking at the man who was now leering at her.
“Does this mean that the Marquess would not want to test out the latest batch of soaps?” She retorted without replying to his doubting query.
From their earlier conversation, she was sure that he must have understood what she was trying to achieve through this method.
By utilizing their experiences with CLOVER’s new soaps, she was trying to increase her business’s popularity among the nobles.
However, if he was uncomfortable in helping her publicize how his experience with the new soap had been then there was nothing she could do.
She would not force him to do something he wasn’t willing to do but at the same time, she would not waste the product on him.
Sending it over to someone else would be a better step to take in this situation.
.....
‘He can buy one for himself when the soaps are finally sold in the market.’ She shrugged as that was all she could do if he was unwilling to help her.
This plan of hers had been adopted from the strategy that popular brands often utilized while promoting their latest products.
Sending their products to influential people who could use them before revealing their experiences was a tactic that most brands had put into practice in her previous life.
In most cases, the social media influencers who were approached for such matters were often paid for promoting the brand’s products.
However, Yvonne had no plans of wasting her money for this purpose.
She had decided to use the popularity of the nobles who would not care for the money she had to offer but would be curious about the products instead.
Their curiosity to gain something ahead of the others was an essential factor that she had planned on exploiting.
CLOVER was already garnering attention for quite some time so she had come up with this plan to multiply its popularity further.
Therefore, by using the same strategy, she was hoping to send her products to people who had influence in their noble society and could increase the good image of the company, portraying it as a brand appropriate for the nobles.
For this purpose, she had asked Tim, the Head of the Hagen family, to prepare special soaps in smaller sizes.
Once the package from the Valente fief arrived, she would send the soaps to a few of the chosen people whom she knew had a great presence in their society.
With these people using CLOVER’s products and speaking up about their experiences after using them, the others would be curious and wish to get their hands on some themselves.
Not to mention that she had asked Tim to create those soaps in smaller sizes for a reason.
She had confidence in his handiwork and was sure that once they used up the sample they had received for free, they would be more than willing to pay for the full-sized product.
Thus the popularity and demand for the new soaps would increase even before they were officially sold in the noble market.
Making use of this fame, Yvonne could launch CLOVER at the right moment and make profits with the excellent products made by the Hagen family and also her efficient marketing strategies.
She had everything planned out in her mind so if Marquess Samed felt uneasy with what she expected from him then she would not force him.
Though she would have to find another influential person to replace him, it would not take much time as she already had a few names in mind.
When Marquess Samed noticed that the child wasn’t too affected by his leer and had even shrugged at him after placing forward her query, a sense of danger emerged in his mind.
Her lack of anxiety that he was hoping for was now making him worry.
However, he did not let it appear on his face and instead, raised his chin while looking right at her.
“Since you have thought so highly of me, how can I reject your efforts?” He huffed before announcing that he wouldn’t mind even if she used him to increase CLOVER’s popularity.
Though his face was haughty as he said those words reflecting his immense generosity, Yvonne could make out the slight panic that had flashed across his crimson irises.
‘He just wants to get the soaps without paying for them.’ Though she had already realized what was going through his mind, the little girl did not expose him and nodded to accept his generous offer to help her out.
After all, she was the reason why he was turning into a miser as time passed.
Ever since Marquess Samed had begun paying a hiked price for the soaps purchased from CLOVER for his fief, he was trying to save money in any way that he could.
Tricking his pupil had been the cause of that unfair contract she had made him sign so he could only grit his teeth and continue paying her excess than what the other Fief Lords were being charged.
However, when he heard about her business’s expansion into the noble market he was excited as this meant that CLOVER had newer products of higher quality that would even suit the tastes of the fussy nobles.
Considering how shrewd and business-minded his pupil was, he was sure that she would make a fortune once CLOVER established its foundation in the noble market.
The soaps sold by the Blaise family were already expensive and he could deduce that Yvonne would be pricing her products around the same range.
Therefore, when he heard that she would hand one over to him, free of cost, he had been anxiously awaiting his turn.
“Just let me know when the package arrives.” Marquess Samed continued with his facade, pretending to be unaffected when his heart was jumping out of his chest.
“Though if I do not like it then I will not help you out.” He added while maintaining a stiff expression to stop his greedy grin from appearing.
Yvonne simply rolled her eyes at the unskilled actor whose every expression was easy for her to decipher.
Nevertheless, she agreed with his condition as she was confident in the talented works of the Hagen family who had not disappointed her since their very first meeting.
Once this conversation came to an end, Marquess Samed did an excellent job of diverting her attention as he moved along to the lessons he had prepared for her today.
This way, he could keep his face while the child’s entire attention would be focused on her studies and thus she would forget about what had just taken place.
Yvonne, not willing to expose him, played along as she concentrated on the lessons they would be discussing today.
___
When their class finally came to an end, Marquess Samed left the St. Claire mansion and Yvonne walked back to her room with the plan of taking a tiny nap.
From Jax, she had learned that her father had gone out for some official business and her mother had also left to keep the appointment she had made with her friends.
Thus she was free to act as she pleased and had already made up her mind on what she would do next.
However, just before she could reach her room, she met someone who seemed to have been waiting for her all along.
