The Way of The Dao

Ling Tian was watching the small fruit hanging quietly from one of the almost dry branches of the tree, his heart a little agitated without taking his attention away.

His hand moved and he slowly extended it, wiggled his fingers and surprisingly the small fruit gently fell towards his open palm, as if the wind gently lowered it down to his hand.

"Enlightenment Spiritual Peach..." Ling Tian whispered and grinned with some emotion as he felt the fruit in his hands. This spiritual peach exuded light mysterious Dao waves that seemed to clear his mind at this moment, as if doubts were slowly being removed and he felt that he could find a solution to everything.

This small peach that seemed soft and almost like a crystal fruit, was a spiritual fruit that bestowed enlightenment to whoever ingested it!

"Strange... could it be for some knowledge that I am unaware of now but I knew in my past life?" Ling Tian frowned before shaking his head. Either way, there's a chance that he'll recover more memories and might know something more about this spiritual fruit that he doesn't currently know.

Ling Tian took out a special jade bottle that contained a large amount of vitality inside as there was a formation inside it. He made several seals and runes with his hands wrapping the Enlightenment Spiritual Peach, as if adding strange layers of protection before carefully storing it inside the jade bottle which was quite spacious. He also took out more than a dozen small formation flags and threw them into the air.

Ling Tian made several seals and runes with his hands once again, consuming much of the force of the Sacred Heavenly Scriptures, he bit his tongue and quickly spat out five mouthfuls of blood essence, fusing them with the seals before they enveloped the jade bottle, subsequently placing it inside his storage ring.

Xuan Li and Lang Qingzu were watching with worried and anxious expressions when they sensed that Ling Tian's aura had abruptly dropped, as if he had received a powerful attack that severely wounded him. Seeing his pale face and slightly agitated breathing both girls became much more worried... could it be that the hidden wounds the ancestor said are manifesting again? Xuan Li and Lang Qingzu could not help but feel more anxious and worried at the thought of the latter.

Since Ling Tian had his back turned, neither could really see what he had done.

"Girls, I'm fine." Ling Tian patted both of their heads as he saw their worried looks. The seals and formations he performed consumed much of his power, but in a short time he would recover without any problems some.

Lang Qingzu and Xuan Li continued to feel worried at the sight of Ling Tian, especially his pale face. The anxiety to find Elder Deng Tianjin deepened further in their hearts; as powerful powerhouse of the Great Ascension state, Elder Deng Tianjin should have medicinal pills that could help Ling Tian, right?

"They are...?" Ling Tian raised his eyebrows as he saw four girls behind Xuan Li and Lang Qingzu, watching him with stunned and dumbfounded faces. Those four girls exuded all-natural cold auras probably due to their cultivation methods.

Ling Tian nodded, observing the four faces filled with some wounds as well as the small bodies of some of them. The oldest girl looked to be almost 20 years old in appearance, while the youngest one was about the same age as Lang Qingzu.

"Ah! Huh! G-greetings, senior! I-I... m-my name is Zhu Rouwei and I'm a disciple of the Ice Heart Essence Sect!" Zhu Rouwei stammered at first before cupping her fists together in respectful greeting. She also bowed with much respect.

"My name is Wu Xuemin, senior! I'm also a disciple of the Ice Heart Essence Sect!"

"I am Fang Lian'er! Disciple of the Ice Heart Essence Sect!"

"A-and my name is Ying Su... I am also a disciple of the Ice Heart Essence Sect!"

Respectively, Wu Xuemin, Fang Lian'er and Ying Su approached and respectfully greeted Ling Tian as well, showing respect to their seniors.

However, what stunned them was that this rumored legendary supreme ancestor of Xuan Li and Lang Qingzu's sect was... he was too young and extremely handsome!
