Chapter 102
Chapter 102
"Go ahead, call the captain to sail over and take a look," Weng Jiao and the others had no objections.
However, as their yacht went a short distance, they saw the other boat leaving rapidly.
"Hey? Why are they leaving?" Zhang Xiyue was still looking through the binoculars, "I think I saw a guy, don't know if he's a handsome one, only saw the back of his head."
Lou Sasa: "Were there any other people?"
"No more."
"Alright then, they clearly don't want to be disturbed, let the captain stop here, we can just play around. I was planning to go scuba diving later anyway."
"Okay."
On the other side, when Song Luokui initially saw that boat coming towards them, she panicked, constantly urging, "Go, go, go, let's get out of here quickly."
Chi Yu swiftly started the yacht, "whoosh" leaving that area of the sea, until they could no longer see that boat. Song Luokui then sat up from her prone position, as she was previously lying down, afraid of being seen by anyone who came close.
But now the problem was, her sisters were also in Banras, what if she went out and got discovered?
Back on land, Song Luokui was a bit worried about this issue.
Chi Yu: "I'll take you to a place, we won't run into anyone there."
Song Luokui: ?
Returning to the hotel, the two packed their things and left the five-star hotel, then Chi Yu took her to a private villa, with a private beach in front of the villa.
Chi Yu: "Originally I was afraid to bring you here because I thought you might not like it, since there's no one around. I thought you'd prefer somewhere livelier." He was worried she'd think he had ulterior motives bringing her here.
Song Luokui: "No, no, no, I love it, I prefer quiet places." There were actually staff at the villa to serve them, they just wouldn't appear unless instructed.
Their luggage was directly taken and unpacked by the staff, and Song Luokui changed into different clothes before running out again, with Chi Yu following behind her.
Song Luokui ran happily along the beach, Chi Yu chasing after her, occasionally the two would stop to look at some small animals on the sand, like sideways-crawling crabs, and even little sea turtles.
She also collected some seashells, planning to make a shell necklace, while Chi Yu found a conch shell, which Song Luokui held up to her ear and truly heard sounds from.
In the evening, they steamed and ate a starry puffer fish, and after eating, Song Luokui toured the villa before going to bed.
The next day, Chi Yu took her scuba diving, and seeing the beautiful starfish, seagrass and more under the sea made Song Luokui very happy. She even wanted to catch fish, but they quickly slipped out of her hands.
After the dive, the two returned to the boat, then back to the villa, where there was a swimming pool. When Song Luokui came out in her swimsuit, she saw Chi Yu swimming in the pool, wearing only swim trunks. Hearing her approach, he immediately surfaced from the pool and swam over to her.
Chi Yu pushed his wet hair back with one hand, then with a forceful push lifted himself to sit beside Song Luokui, grabbing a towel nearby to wipe himself before extending a hand to her, "Want to swim together?"
Song Luokui looked at his six-pack abs physique and swallowed, her face slightly flushed, shaking her head, "No, no."
Swimming together would be too intimate, what if something happened?
Seeing she didn't want to swim, Chi Yu didn't mind, "Then you can watch me?"
"Okay."
With that, Chi Yu jumped back in, shooting forward like a merman, swimming to the other end and back.
When Chi Yu got tired from swimming, he sat beside Song Luokui, "Where do you want to go tomorrow?"
Song Luokui: "Do you have any plans?"
Chi Yu pointed to the forest next to the villa: "We can take a walk in that forest, have a picnic barbecue, or we can go shopping?"
Worried about running into her sisters while shopping, Song Luokui immediately said: "Let's go to the forest for a walk tomorrow, and have a barbecue picnic."
"Okay."
That evening was another seafood feast, and the next day Chi Yu got a bicycle from somewhere and rode with her towards the forest.
Song Luokui wore a sundress, a straw hat, carrying a flower basket and sitting on the backseat, one arm around Chi Yu's waist, the two happily setting off.
The bicycle was parked at the edge of the forest as the path ahead was too rough for cycling, so they walked slowly instead.
What they didn't know was, at that time, a murderer had snuck into the forest and was hiding in the shadows.
This forest was actually part of Chi Yu's private property along with the villa, belonging to the same owner, and the murderer had sneaked in illegally.
Song Luokui and Chi Yu were oblivious to this, slowly walking while chatting, when suddenly Song Luokui felt like someone was watching her. She turned to look but saw nothing.
Chi Yu also immediately sensed something was off, pulling Song Luokui's waist close to him, leaning down to whisper in her ear, appearing to others like he was kissing her: "Let's go back."
Song Luokui's heart raced, though scared she remained calm and nodded, the two acting as if they didn't notice anything as they slowly headed out.
But as they walked, a gust of wind blew, and a person lunged at them. Chi Yu was already on high alert, pulling Song Luokui into his arms as he spun, dodging the attack, before placing her behind a tree. He immediately attacked the assailant.
The person had a dagger, managing to cut Chi Yu's hand, but he acted as if it was nothing, feinting before sweeping the person's legs out from under them, making them fall.
Chi Yu then kicked the hand holding the dagger, making it fly out, and Song Luokui quickly went to grab it. Next, Chi Yu started viciously beating the murderer!
This was her first time seeing him so ferocious, his forearms bulging with muscle, eyes intense, punching the person's face which instantly swelled and bled.
When the person tried to fight back, Chi Yu kicked them in the stomach, then punched their chest, Song Luokui swearing she heard the sound of breaking ribs. Immediately after, Chi Yu grabbed the person's hand and twisted it, a sickening crack as they screamed.
Song Luokui watched from behind the tree, never imagining Chi Yu could fight so well.
Soon, staff from the villa arrived, armed, having received news that a murderer might have snuck onto the property and fearing for Chi Yu and Song Luokui's safety. But when they arrived, the murderer had already been subdued by the master of the house.
The murderer was taken away, but Song Luokui worriedly looked at Chi Yu's injury, "Let's go back quickly, I'll disinfect and bandage your wound."
While bandaging Chi Yu, Song Luokui asked and learned that like her brother, Chi Yu had been trained in martial arts from a young age, just not sent to the military by his father, instead having private instructors at home.
The day's activity ended there, with Song Luokui insisting Chi Yu rest at the villa, while local Banras news reported the murderer being caught and subdued by a couple from Hua Country.
Though a minor injury, Chi Yu still felt apologetic, hugging Song Luokui, "Sorry, today's arrangements had some errors."
Song Luokui: "These kinds of uncontrollable things happen, you don't need to apologize, and you protected me, making me feel you're even more reliable." She caressed his face.
Chi Yu buried his head in the crook of her neck, holding her, "Mmm."
The barbecue picnic was moved to the next afternoon, on the beach, with villa staff joining them. When Song Luokui came out, she had forgotten to apply sunscreen, so she sat on a beach chair applying some.
When Chi Yu walked over, she squeezed a handful of sunscreen and rubbed it directly onto his bare abs, "Let me put some sunscreen on you."
Chi Yu suddenly stiffened a little, almost groaning.
Chi Yu grabbed her hand, took a deep breath, "Don't move, I... ahem."
Song Luokui let out an "ah" sound, her face instantly turning red, then her gaze went down... damn!
