Fang Zhihan was silent for a few seconds before his crispy cold voice resounded, “I’m just presenting you with the possibilities. Obviously, your teacher’s disappearance isn’t simple.”

As he spoke, his tone did not change.

But, Yu Gangan could tell that he was a little upset.

He was simply helping her analyze the situation. No matter the conclusion, he was just trying to help. Since Fang Zhihan was being kind, she realized it wasn’t nice for her to suddenly react so negatively.

So, she lowered her head and said apologetically, “Sorry, my reaction was too extreme.”

Fang Zhihan did not say a word as he looked down.

“You’re not angry, are you?” Yu Gangan asked as she leaned forward a little.

“Some soup splashed in my eyes,” Fang Zhihan said as he lifted his hand to wipe his eyes.

Yu Gangan immediately stopped him, “Don’t use your hands to wipe it. Wait...”

As she spoke, she picked up a tissue and dipped it in some clean water, “Quick, use this!”

Fang Zhihan grabbed the tissue and placed it against his eyes.

Yu Gangan watched from the side. As soon as Fang Zhihan put the tissue down, she asked, “How do you feel?”

Fang Zhihan blinked a few times and stared straight ahead. He then asked, “What do those words say?”

Yu Gangan followed his gaze and saw some neon lights on the side of a building, “It says, ‘China, I love you’. Can’t you see it?”

“What does it say?”

“China, I love you.”

“The last three words?”

“I love you.”

“Oh, OK,” Fang Zhihan replied, sounding pleased.

Yu Gangan froze as she stared at the man in silence.

All of a sudden, her cheeks flushed red.

“You...”

This man was horrible.

He definitely took advantage of her on purpose.

Yet, he was acting serious.

Horrible.

He was horrible and black-bellied.

Yu Gangan sat down carefully and glared at the man. She then said threateningly, “What are you looking at? Eat your noodles. Don’t waste it!”

Her reaction, once again, reminded Fang Zhihan of a little kitten that was trying to act fierce.

He then grabbed some of his beef and placed it in Yu Gangan’s bowl, “Here, eat more.”

“Don’t think I don’t know you’re giving it to me because you can’t finish it,” Yu Gangan grumbled as she buried her head and returned to eating. Meanwhile, her heart rate increased.

As soon as she returned home, she returned to her bedroom and plopped down on the bed. This Fang Zhihan was too unpredictable.

When she was up against him, she felt like a sheep waiting to be eaten. Any day now, she was going to be stewed alive.

But, was he right? Did her teacher really have something to do with the murder?

The police didn’t investigate the two cases together, so it couldn’t be related, right?

Yu Gangan rolled around on her bed and finally fell asleep halfway through the night.

The next day, she woke up relatively late. When she stepped out of her room, Fang Zhihan had already left, but breakfast was being kept warm in a pot.

[The congee is quite good.]

[Did Fang Zhihan cook it himself?]

Yu Gangan wondered why Fang Zhihan’s congee tasted better than the ones she made?

After eating breakfast, Yu Gangan headed over to Nanzhen Street.

As usual, there was a bit of a traffic jam. Cars were backed up from the front of the street for quite some distance and it didn’t seem like it was clearing. Seeing that her clinic wasn’t far, Yu Gangan got out of the taxi and decided to walk the rest of the way.

But, just as she was about to reach the clinic, a clear voice called out to her, “Gangan...”

It was the granddaughter of the old man from the herbal tea store. With a slight smile, Yu Gangan asked, “What’s wrong, Xiao Hong?”

“Something happened to your clinic.”

Yu Gangan’s eyes sunk as she began to run. As she approached, she saw a crowd had gathered outside the clinic, completely blocking the entrance.
