The Scum Is A ***

Sun Yan who is the most leisurely among the four of them spoke, breaking the silence. "Ah Luo, here. You eat more. I am not that hungry." He said as he placed another piece of fish on Fei Luo's bowl and refilled the soup, too.

Fei Huo and Xi Bing had a wooden expression on their faces and felt that although the fish doesn't taste bitter, but now it did. "…" oh, my god! These two…! They thought and almost dropped their bowls and chopsticks after their hands shook when they heard Sun Yan's endearing address to Fei Luo.

Fei Luo, whose face went red in both anger and embarrassment. "…" AAAH! I've had enough! He thought, though when he turned to look at Sun Yan, his heart softened. "…" fck! They say that love makes people fools, and I think I have turned one, too! He thought as black lines covered his face. What should I tell Fei Huo now? He thought and glanced at Fei Huo who was staring at them in shock. "F – Fei Huo…" he called.

Fei Huo blinked, and then his face turned red. "B – brother…" he called. "Y – you two… are really together?!" he finally managed to ask.

Fei Luo's face turned redder. "E – en…" he shyly answered with a nod. "You…" he muttered and looked anxious. Finally, his emotions that he has suppressed all these years were revealed.

"Brother…" Fei Huo called as he looked at his brother in shock. "So, you actually like Sun Yan-ge, too?!" he asked as his mouth fell open in shock. Then, he turned to Sun Yan. "Sun Yan-ge… congratulations! I didn't know that you like my brother!" he said and grimaced.

Sun Yan smiled. "Thank you. Does this mean that you are in favor of my relationship with you brother?" he asked.

Fei Luo's eyes widened in shock as he looked at the both of them.

"En! If my brother really likes you…" Fei Huo said and looked at Fei Luo whose face can't be any redder.

Sun Yan turned and looked at Fei Luo with a smile.

"E – ehem!" Fei Luo coughed and looked away.

Sun Yan chuckled while Fei Huo looked puzzled. Was he wrong? Does his brother not really like Sun Yan? He thought as he tilted his head.

"I do!" Fei Luo answered when he saw the doubt on Fei Huo's eyes. He felt his heart beating fast, both in happiness and excitement. "Fei Huo, I… it's not like I am going away…" he said.

Fei Huo's eyes went wide as he looked at his brother. "Brother, what are you saying?" he asked. "Actually, I also want to tell you to protect me less from now on… I have already reflected on my mistakes, as well as weaknesses." He explained. "I… have always been dependent on you." He said and bit his lip.

"Fei Huo…" Fei Luo called while Sun Yan patted his back to comfort him. "Was this thought installed in your mind by this guy?" he asked as his face turned cold and he turned to glare at Xi Bing.

Xi Bing who is currently contemplating how to talk with Fei Huo later but then everyone's focus suddenly turned to him. "…" wait… I am still not ready! He thought as his face was covered with black lines.

"Wait, no! Brother! It's not what you think!" Fei Huo said as he grabbed his brother's hand when Fei Luo was about to reach for his sword. "It's not because of him! I realized my problem yesterday!" he told him.

"Really?" Fei Luo looked at Fei Huo with doubt in his gaze.

Fei Huo resolutely nodded. "Really." He answered. "Also… I am actually thankful that everyone is covering up my weaknesses." He smiled.

"Oh?" Fei Luo muttered. "The 'everyone' you are talking about, aside from me that is already a given to protect you, is this guy." He said and pointed at Xi Bing who froze.

Sun Yan. "^_^"

Fei Huo. "…" well, you have a point… he thought and grimaced.

Sun Yan protects everyone but only when necessary. The exception is Fei Luo. Sun Ri naturally can't protect others since she has to protect herself first. Xi He, undoubtedly, would not protect anyone. Fei Luo, as he has said, would naturally protect Fei Huo since he is his brother.

The question is Xi Bing, who, although subtly, as everyone recall now, really have protected Fei Huo many times in the past. His instinctive reaction when there is danger would always be looking at Fei Huo to see where he is and secretly stand on his other side, since Fei Luo was on the other side, so that he can immediately protect Fei Huo.

Xi Bing, who has never thought that he would be exposed like this, furiously blushed as he immediately looked away so that they won't see his face that is as red as an apple. But, they can see his red ears and neck.

Sun Yan. "^_^" now everything is in the open! He thought and grinned.

Fei Luo. "-_-" fck! This person really wants to take my brother away from me! He thought, furious.

Fei Huo. "…" for some reason, he feels shy, something that he has never felt before given how ignorant he is and thus being straightforward towards everything, so he can't be called shameless.

Xi Bing. "…" is it too late to run away now?

"You!" Fei Luo shouted as he reached for his sword. He intends to duel with Xi Bing.

"Aiya! Ah Luo, calm down!" Sun Yan said as he pulled Fei Luo down to sit. "Look. This matter is between him and your brother. Thus, they are the ones who should resolve this." He explained. "Though… isn't this such a happy thing, to begin with?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" Fei Luo's eyes narrowed as he looked at Sun Yan.

But, Sun Yan wasn't threatened by Fei Luo's glare. Instead, he thought it is sexy. Thinking this, he felt his throat became dry and so he gulped. "Having someone to like you is a blessing." He answered.

Fei Luo fell silent as he pondered over it. Indeed, when he found out that Sun Yan likes him, he actually feels happy.

"Doesn't Ah Luo like me, too?" Sun Yan asked and smiled as he stared at Fei Luo.

Fei Luo blushed. "I do." He answered.

Fei Huo and Xi Bing. "…" have you forgotten we are still here? They thought.

But, Xi Bing knows that Sun Yan is helping him, and he feels grateful towards him. He turned to look at Fei Huo and saw him staring at his brother and Sun Yan. Although he said earlier that he feels happy for the two, he also actually feels sad. After all, Fei Luo's attention on him would be halved now that Sun Yan is also a part of Fei Luo's life. Even if he said that he will learn how to be independent, still, he feels sad, for all these years, it was only him and Fei Luo in each other's life. Now, Sun Yan has become a part of Fei Luo's life, too.

It would be impossible now for Fei Luo to solely focus on Fei Huo.

"Fei Huo." Xi Bing called.

After they finished their lunch earlier, the arrangement remained the same although Fei Luo reluctantly agreed, and reluctantly left with Sun Yan since Fei Huo would be left to Xi Bing. Fei Luo still felt worried, but Sun Yan has convinced him that Xi Bing and Fei Huo are the ones who should decide on this matter. Only then did Fei Luo finally leave.

Fei Huo didn't answer as he crouched behind a tree.

"You actually felt reluctant to part with your brother, right?" Xi Bing asked as he leaned on the other side of the tree where Fei Huo is hiding. He knows that Fei Huo is hiding not because of him, but because he still feels sad due to his brother.

Fei Huo didn't answer.

"I won't say this due to my friendship with Sun Yan." Xi Bing spoke. "I will say this because I know what he is as a person. Or else, I wouldn't befriend him." he sighed. "Sun Yan is a trustworthy person. He takes things seriously, and he is a dependable person. He is also a wise person, so I don't think that he is just playing around with your elder brother." He explained. "In fact, Sun Yan is a good person. He knows what he is doing, thus he loves your brother. Or else, he wouldn't wait this long to confess to your brother." He took a deep breath. "It shows how much he cherishes your brother. Or else, he would have confessed to Fei Luo a long time ago, and not wait for this long. He knows that Fei Luo has many things in his mind, and you are Fei Luo's most important person, thus Sun Yan greatly considers Fei Luo's feelings." He told him.

Xi Bing didn't hear Fei Huo speak. He helplessly sighed before he took a look at him, only to see that the other has already fallen asleep. "…" he grimaced. Then, he carefully picked Fei Huo up before he took him to the grassy parts for Fei Huo to sleep comfortably.

He hasn't seen that Fei Huo's lips curled up, and he imperceptibly snuggled closer to him in his embrace.
