Chapter 92 – No Discussion (1)

Gu Ye, who was ignored, shrugged and kept on walking.

“Two Young Master, as I have said before. All you can find here are very commonly-seen herbs, nothing worth looking at,” urged a man in his forties with short beard to the two identical-looking boys following behind him.

This twin brothers were around 14~15 years old, quite handsome-looking with sword-like brows that raised upward and pure eyes. What a handsome pair of boys! Gu Ye, who loved looking at pretty boys, almost couldn’t look away.

“What are you looking at? Never seen twins before!” said the young man in blue, between his brows was a hint of unruly. Noticing Gu Ye’s stare, he stared back at her impatiently. He had been getting progressively more agitated from being stared at as they were walking down the stress. It started making him felt like a monkey playing tricks for onlookers.

Yet after he stared back, he noticed it was a 7~8-year-old girl. She was pretty fair looking, just a bit too skinny.... Ugh, why did he care if she was skinny or chubby? A girl should not stare at another person like that; that wasn’t virtuous!

The young man in azure gave his younger brother a stare and smiled gently at Gu Ye with an apologetic look in his eyes.

Wowza! A tender and pretty young man! I like! There were stars in Gu Ye’s eyes. Nevertheless, she still felt that the flower boy who saved her before was more of her type.

“Are you still looking?” The boy in blue dashed in front of Gu Ye and stared at her, like a bad-tempered, little wolfhound.

Gu Ye blinked a couple of times and wrinkled her nose a little and said to him, “Who said I was looking at you?”

“......” That’s true, the little girl was looking at his brother, what did that have to do with him? No, wait! She couldn’t look at his brother either, “My brother and I look identical, looking at him is the same as looking at me!”

“Oh? Looking at him is like looking at you, huh? By the same token, if your brother has dinner, then you won’t need to eat? If your brother goes to bed, then you don’t need to sleep?” Certainly Gu Ye’s logic had plenty of flaws in them, but all the nosey herb farmers near them busted out laughing. Surely, the logic might be a little off, but if one thought about it some more, it was still kind of funny.

“That... that is sophistry!” The young man in blue was so angry his face turned red but his upbringing taught him that one didn’t hit a young girl, so all he could do was to jump up and down on the side of the road.

“Second brother!” The young man in azure found it quite amusing that his brother had lost to a little girl, but in order to not hurt his brother’s feeling, he tried very hard not to let that show.

With a smile like a spring-breeze on his gentle face, he said to Gu Ye, “I apologize for my younger brother. That’s how he always is. Please don’t mind him, Miss. I will talk to him after we get home.”

“Ge, I didn’t do anything wrong. Why are you apologizing to her?” The young man in blue was not happy about that; his look filled with stubbornness and unresigned emotions.

“This young master, there is no need to apologize. You haven’t done anything wrong. I understand, life must be rough for you with a young brother who’s always causing disturbance. Sigh....” Gu Ye shook her head like an adult and casted a glance over at the young man in blue purposefully. Her voice full of sympathy and compassion.

“Who... who is causing disturbance?” A shred of guilt flashed through the young man in blue. Ever since they were kids, he has always been hiding behind his brother’s back whenever he did something wrong. With their identical looks, his brother had taken some blames for him on occasion. Needless to say, he wasn’t going to mention that in front of the little brat.
