The Epic of Leviathan (A Mutant's Ascension)

"This is what I have been talking about!!" the Captain of the 11th Division exclaimed as he lunged towards Rumi and Rumi also lunged towards the man as she pulled back her fist. 

At the same time, Hela's and the Captain-Commander's Spiritual Pressure collided creating a huge shockwave. 

Rumi's gauntlet clad fist collided against Kenpachi Zaraki's Zanpakutou. Kenpachi Zaraki's eyes grew wide as his Zanpakutou was shattered. Rumi's fist continued moving forward as it landed on Kenpachi Zaraki's right shoulder. 

Kenpachi Zaraki stood there completely still as his right shoulder along with his whole right arm was obliterated into nothingness. Blood splattered on the ground from his missing shoulder. Everyone who saw the scene found themselves frozen due to shock. 

"Ken-Chan" a loud scream was heard from where the lieutenants were. Kenpachi Zaraki stood there completely frozen, his brain still unable to register what happened. 

"My disappointment is immeasurable…" Rumi said while shaking her head and as her fist smashed into Kenpachi Zaraki's face. A sick crunch was heard as Zaraki's body was flung away like a cannonball. 

"Scatter, Senbonzakura" the Captain of the 6th Division, Kuchiki Byakuya said as his Zanpakutou literally scattered into pink Sakura petals. 

"Is that supposed to do anything?" Rumi asked in a mocking tone but lowered her head to dodge several petals. At first, she didn't know what those petals meant but she noticed their edge when the pretty boy sent the petals after her. 

"Ah… so they are blades" Rumi mused as she dodged another volley of sakura petals. Rumi lunged towards Kuchiki Byakuya but she lowered her whole body when a long blade passed by her upper body. 

From the corner of her eyes, Rumi noticed a white-haired man responsible for the blade. She clicked her tongue and her ears twitched when she heard an odd noise… it wasn't anything harmful but it was annoying. 

Rumi's eyes focused towards the direction from where the sound originated. She noticed the black-skinned man who was spouting about justice was responsible for the noise. Currently, the man seemed to be fumbling with his Zanpakutou. 

Rumi concluded that she needed to change her approach. She was fighting 9 opponents, lunging around wasn't going to work. Rumi thought as she backflipped to dodge another volley of sakura petals. 

"Yare… Yare… this looks really troublesome" the Captain of the 8th Division, Shunsui Kyoraku muttered as he pulled out his Zanpakutou. 

"Indeed" he heard someone whisper into his ear. His eyes grew wide as he noticed that Rumi was gone from her original spot. He swung around his Zanpakutou but he stopped when an elbow crashed into his ribs. 

He spat out a mouthful of blood and plopped on the ground. Once again Rumi Flash Stepped away as once again she had to dodge the long-ass Zanpakutou. 

Rumi froze when the Captain of the 2nd Division, Soifon, appeared behind her and stabbed Rumi with her golden finger. Soifon's eyes grew wide as nothing happened. Soifon couldn't even pierce Rumi's Vibranium armour with her Zanpakutou. 

"Will you stop poking me?" Rumi asked in an annoyed tone. Soifon immediately used Shunpo and made some distance between herself and Rumi. 

"I don't know what you were trying to do but that was annoying" Rumi deadpanned as she disappeared using Flash Step and several Zanpakutou's rained down where she has been standing. 

Rumi appeared in front of Soifon but Soifon easily dodged the blow by using Shunpo. Soifon's Flash Step was slightly faster than Rumi's Flash Step, thankfully Soifon's Zanpakutou was unable to Pierce Rumi's armour. 

While Rumi was having a lot of fun fighting the Captains on the other part of the crater Hela and the Captain-Commander were still having a Spiritual Pressure measuring contest. In a battle between Shinigamis, their Spiritual Pressures collided. 

The one with stronger Spiritual Pressure would obviously have a lot of advantages in the fight. So as of now, both Hela and the Captain-Commander were simply trying to overpower the other's Spiritual Pressure but neither of them were successful in this endeavour. 

"Looks like a fight between us can't be avoided" the Captain-Commander said in a solemn tone as he used Flash Step to appear high in the air. 

Hela simply rolled her eyes and appeared in front of the Captain-Commander. Both of them were standing high up in the air. After learning the Shinigami Arts, Hela had learned how to stand in the air.

"You are a fool if you had thought that you could avoid a fight" Hela said dryly and the Captain-Commander seemed to hum in agreement. 

"Indeed" the Captain-Commander muttered as he slammed his cane in the air and it started to transform into a Zanpakutou. 

Hela was surprised by that truck… she had seen Kisuke Urahara pull out his Zanpakutou from his cane but this was something new. The Captain-Commander pulled out his Zanpakutou from its sheath. 

"Reduce all creation to ash, Ryujin Jakka" the Captain-Commander muttered as huge amounts of flames erupted from his Zanpakutou. Hela could feel the immense heat from the flames but it didn't bother her. 

"Good…" Hela muttered as she pulled out her Zanpakutou too. "Reign Supreme, Heiwa" Hela muttered as her Zanpakutou transformed into a Rapier. 

'Target the human residences' Hela heard her Zanpakutou's voice inside her mind. Hela snorted… like she would do that. She could handle herself, no need to use tricks. 

"Taimatsu" the Captain-Commander said as he slashed his Zanpakutou towards Hela. Hela was engulfed by a huge inferno of flames. The Captain-Commander had to sidestep to dodge Hela's thrust. 

The Captain-Commander hummed when he noticed that Hela's left side was completely burnt off but it was already healing. Hela had a vicious grin on her face as she continued attacking the Captain-Commander. 

Once again Hela dodged another inferno of flames, Hela was quickly getting used to attacks. The Captain-Commander was too predictable for someone of her calibre. The Captain-Commander also noticed that, so he decided to change his approach. 

"Jokaku Enjo" the Captain-Commander waved his Zanpakutou and Hela was entrapped in a prison of flames from all the sides. 

Hela released a snort. It was a good plan if she was using the Shinigami version of Flash Step or her normal speed but if she used her teleportation method or the Magical version of Flash Step then this prison was simply useless. 

On the outside, the Captain-Commander waved his Zanpakutou and nine pillars of flames appeared around the Flaming Prison. "Ennetsu Jigoku!" the Captain-Commander exclaimed as the pillars converged and collapsed on the prison creating a huge explosion. 

Even though the chances of Hela's survival was very low the Captain-Commander decided not to lower his guard. Only after a few seconds, Hela walked out of the sea of flames… not much of her was left when she came out. 

For the first time in hundreds of years the Captain-Commander, Genryusai Yamamoto was surprised. Hela was mostly a skeleton when she came out of the flames but only after a few seconds, she was completely healed along with her clothes. 

Genryusai Yamamoto kept staring at Hela with wide eyes… "That hurt like a bitch" Hela drawled as her Zanpakutou reformed in her hand. It had melted off due to the flames of Ryujin Jakka but she was able to save the hilt. 

'This is the second time my Zanpakutou has melted… I wonder if my husband can make my Zanpakutou melt-proof or something like that' Hela wondered inside her mind. 

"How did you survive?" Genryusai Yamamoto asked in a low tone and Hela simply smirked. 

"I have already said… I am the Goddess of Death and War… I am immortal" Hela proclaimed. This time Genryusai Yamamoto didn't dismiss the statement. 

Yes, it was true that it might be her Zanpakutou ability but that was highly unlikely. Genryusai Yamamoto knew that he couldn't hold back but he also couldn't use his full power or he would end up destroying the human world. 

Hela leaned back as she took a stance and disappeared from her position. Moments later Genryusai Yamamoto also disappeared from his place and huge shockwaves started to erupt from various places. 

The shockwaves were created when Hela's and Genryusai Yamamoto's Zanpakutous collided. Hela's attacks were so fast that the flames of Ryujin Jakka were unable to catch up to her…

For the first time in a thousand years, Genryusai Yamamoto could feel danger. He had never faced a strong and dangerous opponent like Hela. He was sure that Hela was also holding back… 

His Zanpakutou ability was stronger than Hela's no arguments there but he couldn't use that advantage as any type of damage he caused would heal in a matter of seconds and Hela's speed was much faster than the speed of his flames. 

Hela was grinning ear to ear throughout the whole exchange. It has been some time since she had fought someone this strong. The last time she had so much fun was when she was fighting Yachiru. 

Yes, she was massively holding back right now but using those powers would simply kill the oldie geezer child she was fighting. 

That wouldn't do… she wanted to enjoy herself and there was no one who could change her mind but it seems like Rumi disagreed with her… 

Hela's Zanpakutou clashed with Genryusai's Zanpakutou. All of a sudden, Hela's eyes grew wide as Rumi appeared in front of her. Before Hela could say anything Rumi's fist slammed into her chest. 

Rumi's eyes grew wide in horror after a second when she realized that she had made a huge hole in Hela's chest…
