Chapter 227 You’ll Face Death!

Chapter 227 You'll Face Death!

"I will kill you!" Zhang Jun roared with seething rage, hurtling himself towards Long Tian.

Long Tian grinned, his adrenaline surging. Suddenly, Liu Qian stepped in front of him.

Surprise flickered across the faces of both Long Tian and Zhang Jun. Zhang Jun abruptly halted just before his punch could connect with Liu Qian.

On the flip side, Liu Qian swiftly delivered a striking blow to his face, sending him sprawling backward, crashing to the ground.

He swiftly rose, staring at Liu Qian with frustation.

"You're fiercely defending him, Qian'er?" he questioned, his tone laced with frustration.

"There's no place for you in my heart, Zhang Jun. Even if you compel me or my family, I'd prefer death!" Liu Qian responded, her tone resolute.

Hearing this, frustration surged within Zhang Jun. The sting of those words from someone he desired intensely was palpable.

He gritted his teeth, his expression morphing into cold anger. "Then I'll eliminate your boyfriend and claim you from him!" he declared icily.

"You won't succeed!" Liu Qian sneered, gearing up for the impending confrontation.

Zhang Jun's anger intensified at Liu Qian's cutting words. Veins on his forehead bulged, and a menacing purple aura radiated from his body.

Simultaneously, the figure of a muscular man in armor wielding two greatswords materialized behind him.

It was his martial spirit, an A-Class: General Gunjin from Yuan dynasty mythology!

Another greatsword formed in Zhang Jun's grip, now wielding two greatswords.

"Never regret your decision, Qian'er!" he stated coldly.

With determination, he lunged towards Liu Qian, who brandished a dagger. Their clash reverberated with intense, echoing sounds.

The strikes from the dual greatswords met their match as Liu Qian expertly parried each attack.

What was originally Long Tian's battle now transformed into a fierce showdown between Zhang Jun and Liu Qian.

On the sidelines, Long Tian crossed his arms, thoroughly engrossed in the unfolding duel.

In the heart of the conflict, Zhang Jun and Liu Qian clashed weapons, the relentless clang of sword strikes filling the air with intensity.

Liu Qian found herself grappling against Zhang Jun's relentless assault with the heavy dual greatswords, each blade nearly five times the size of a regular sword.

Combined with his formidable strength, Zhang Jun's swings felt seamless as he directed the massive blades toward Liu Qian.

As seconds ticked by, the sword fight escalated. In a pivotal moment, Liu Qian surged forward with her dagger, deftly maneuvering past Zhang Jun and inflicting a small yet deep cut on his left side.

The pain surged through Zhang Jun, forcing him to kneel with one leg, his expression now grave.

Observing the turn of events, Liu Qian, adorned with two Phoenix wings on her back, soared into the air. Similar to her attack on the colossal tiger earlier, she gracefully unfurled her wings, causing the Phoenix feathers to swiftly dart towards Zhang Jun.

Zhang Jun promptly shielded his head with the dual greatswords.

As soon as the Phoenix feathers made contact, they exploded with a resounding "BOOM!" The explosion unleashed blue flames, enveloping Zhang Jun in a cerulean inferno that rendered his entire form invisible.

Liu Qian remained aloft, gazing at the stunning yet perilous blue inferno. Her eyes, however, remained focused and unyielding.

After a few seconds, the unyielding flames showed no sign of extinguishing. However, in the next moment, Liu Qian's expression sharply intensified as she witnessed large rocks, shrouded in purple energy, hurtling upward towards her.

She struggled to evade them, but hundreds of formidable rocks propelled by Zhang Jun closed in on her.

"Thump!" One of the substantial rocks struck her, causing her to plummet, losing control of her wings.

Emerging from the relentless blue inferno, Zhang Jun swiftly sprinted towards Liu Qian, his grip on the two greatswords unwavering.

"It ends here now!" he declared with cold determination.

Liu Qian's expression shifted to panic, and just as Zhang Jun was about to strike, his body was abruptly seized by a black dragon, biting into him and soaring into the sky.

Liu Qian's expression transformed into surprise as she landed gracefully on the ground. Then, her gaze focused on Long Tian, who walked closer with just one tattoo on his left arm.

"You interrupted me! At least let me face him alone," Liu Qian complained, her brows furrowed in displeasure.

"You lost," Long Tian responded calmly.

"I can't die," Liu Qian asserted.

"Yeah, but he didn't intend to kill you, just to beat you, and he did. But I stopped him from going further," Long Tian countered.

Liu Qian fell silent upon hearing this. Upon reflection, Zhang Jun had been superior from the beginning, and she felt a noticeable gap between them.

While she contemplated, Long Tian gently patted her hair. "You still have a lot of time to practice, and maybe next time, we can train together, just the two of us," he said, his tone reassuring.

Liu Qian smiled, her cheeks slightly blushing. "Are you seriously flirting when there's an enemy here? He can summon meteors, you know," she warned.

Long Tian, however, smiled confidently. "For Zhang Jun, I'll devour his heart!" he declared with a grin, his tone filled with malice and killing intent.

With that, he walked directly toward Zhang Jun, who was still engaged in battle with his black dragon.

Liu Qian remained silent. She actually wanted to remind Long Tian that the Zhang family in the Yuan dynasty held a position similar to ancient families in the Han empire. However, considering Long Tian came from the Long family, his family seemed more superior.

Returning to the fight, Zhang Jun leaped high into the air, releasing both of his greatswords. This time, his right palm emitted a purple glow.

On the flip side, the black dragon opened its mouth wide, preparing to devour him.

The distance between them closed in, becoming shorter and shorter. And when it was extremely close, Zhang Jun thrust his right palm into the dragon's mouth.

The black dragon immediately closed its mouth again. But the next moment, its body exploded with purple energy, causing its form to evaporate into darkness and eventually vanish.

Long Tian, on the other hand, looked at his right arm where the dragon tattoo reappeared. He also sensed that he couldn't summon the black dragon again.

There was no anger or displeasure, just calmness in his expression.

As Long Tian approached, Zhang Jun regained hold of his two greatswords.

The wounds on his body were shrouded in purple energy, and it didn't take long for them to fully heal.

His gaze towards Long Tian was sharp and cold, "You will face death!"
