Chapter 1465: Original Star Corner

Ever since Shang Xia was ‘robbed’ by the Destiny Merchant Group, he learned that staying lowkey in the Chaotic Sea of Stars wasn’t actually a good thing.

With what he learned, when Shang Xia was traveling through the sea of stars in his Star Ship alone, he left behind a long trail of light that he released with his powerful inner qi. The streak of light extended for miles and he didn’t hide his aura as a high-level True Immortal either. That way, he could scare away 99 percent of Star Pirate groups and avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble.

Of course, he might run into some fearless fools, but those people were easily dealt with.

If one roamed about the Chaotic Sea of Stars and didn’t have a good eye to pick their battles, they wouldn’t live for long.

After learning about the situation with the Twin Star Pirates from Song Zhen, Shang Xia left the Ruined Market of the Sea of Stars and rushed to a region of space where they were active.

The Twin Star Pirates managed to earn big when they worked with the Wanyun Association to attack the Spirit Dawn World, but they also suffered heavy losses. More than half their experts were killed and they were only left with 2 Star Ships. One of them was even their Spirit Ark.

After news of their deeds spread, the Twin Star Pirates basically shot to fame overnight. However, the poor state they were in also caused their enemies to come circling.

Any other super Star Pirate group would be able to easily replenish their losses as there was no lack of crazy experts willing to join Star Pirate groups in the sea of stars, but the Twin Star Pirates had strange requirements where only twins would be accepted. As such, they were unable to quickly fill the gap in their strength.

Also, when trying to hear about the Twin Star Pirates’ current situation, Shang Xia heard a piece of bad news. Their location might have already been compromised.

He didn’t know exactly what was happening, but there was news in the Ruined Market that several powerful Star Pirate groups had already made their way over to outlook for them. They formed an alliance to surround the region of activity of the Twin Star Pirates and were about to force them out by closing the encirclement.

Obtaining a Star Chart from Song Zhen, Shang Xia rushed towards a region called the Original Star Corner.

According to their original agreement, Song Zhen should have followed behind Shang Xia. After all, they would have to join hands in order to attack an Azure World. No one knew how much resources they would obtain in the process and as the leader of a merchant group, Song Zhen had his ways of distributing the loot. Shang Xia knew very well to give most benefits to his people first.

Song Zhen was also a third tier True Immortal. He had a large-scale Star Ship and a Spirit Ark he could mobilize. Soon, he would also take in another merchant group with a first tier True Immortal and their own fleet. Their strength would experience a huge period of growth.

The Origin Star Corner was located in a relatively desolate region in the sea of stars. There were several Earth Stars and floating land masses, but there wasn’t a single world fit for cultivation. It was so barren that there was no point developing it. As such, there were very few people in the area and not many people even took note of the place.

From that point alone, it was reasonable that the Twin Star Pirates chose the Original Star Corner to recuperate.

Of course, the Twin Star Pirates weren’t fools. They had more than 1 place to hide. The Original Star Corner was but one of their many temporary hiding grounds. Even if they didn’t hear that they would be surrounded by other Star Pirate groups, they would leave after some time.

When Shang Xia was 1,000,000 miles away from the region of space, he started to conceal his aura again. He kept his Star Ship and hid his presence as he flew through the void alone. He even transformed his appearance slightly to become more unrecognizable.

As he passed through the outer periphery of the region, he already discovered several Star Ships on patrol.

Thankfully, he already made his preparations. Even though there were other formations or restrictions along the way, they were far from capable of discovering a True Immortal.

With the extent of the encirclement, Shang Xia started to show a frown on his face. The Twin Star Pirates was probably in an extremely bad spot at the moment.

He noticed 3 batches of patrol ships and discovered that they were actually made up of experts from 3 different Star Pirate groups.

They were the Star Embracing Pirates, Noon Yang Pirates, and another group that was actually no stranger to Shang Xia, the Cloud Piercing Bandits.

Shang Xia had long since started gathering information about Star Pirate groups back in the institution, but because of their lack of presence, they could only rely on Song Zhen.

Song Zhen might not be the leader of an extremely powerful Star Pirate group, but he heard of those groups at the very least. Their collective strength was also most definitely stronger than Song Zhen’s merchant group. According to their abilities, they could be classified as Super Star Pirate groups with a high-level True Immortal at the helm at the very least.

The Twin Star Pirates could actually be classified on the same level in the past as when their leaders, the Ying Twins, worked together, they were unbeatable by most experts in the Martial Void Realm. Be it their reputation or collective strength, they would surpass any of the 3 Star Pirate groups individually.

However, with the setback they suffered, they could only become prey to the alliance of the 3 Super Star Pirate groups.

As Shang Xia flew deeper into the Original Star Corner, he discovered that floating land masses might be few in number, but there were tons of asteroids. They formed a massive belt and if large-scale Star Ships wanted to travel quickly across the region, they would definitely be obstructed by those asteroids.

Other than that, there were massive nebulas surrounding the region which interfered with the senses of any experts who might come near.
