Chapter 1178: The Disappearance of High-Level True Immortals

It was true that he had never seen traces of high-level True Immortals in the various worlds.

Ever since the Spirit Luxuriant World ascended, Shang Xia’s cultivation soared in recent years. However, the only high-level True Immortal he ever had contact with was Zhuge Xiang of the Star Origin Guards, and Tong Yutang who just broke through. There was also Yan Huayi of the Spirit Faith World, but they weren’t connected to the Star Origin Dao Field.

Of course, there were also Wen Juxiang and Gao Qin of the Essence Hong World and Essence Ming World respectively.

According to the information Hua Jianlou revealed, since the Star Origin Lord was trying to replace the World’s Will, the clone he was planning to transfer a part of his will to wouldn't be restrained.

Since it was a clone that wasn’t made by the Star Origin Lord himself, Shang Xia felt that using it to experiment shouldn’t cause too much of a problem. Also, Hua Jianlou, Gao Qin, and Wen Juxiang were taking the brunt of the pressure from the enemy and if he didn’t make use of the chance, he would feel sorry for himself.

Naturally, none of the other 3 knew what he was trying to do and they continued to reveal secrets in order to make Shang Xia stay and help them restrain the clone.

“The reason there hasn’t been any high-level True Immortal from our worlds running about is that around 200 to 300 years ago, the Star Origin Dao Field went all out to assassinate them. Even though there weren’t many high-level True Immortals in the various worlds connected to the Star Origin Dao Field, it was truly unnatural for so many of them to die in a matter of a hundred years considering the fact that the lifespan of a high-level True Immortal was much longer than the average expert.

Shang Xia couldn’t help but become distracted for a moment while listening to the explanation. However, it had nothing to do with his shock at his revelation. Instead, he was trying to absorb the energy pouring into the clone with his Crimson Soul Tablet. At the same time, he increased the strength of his True Space Restriction Palm by more than 30 percent.

He didn’t forget to ask, “I guess you should have reached a conclusion after running into this matter?”
