Chapter 252: Training with Prince Lin San (2)

Chapter 252: Training with Prince Lin San (2)

Only those who were qualified could enter.

With that one sentence, Lin Xiao clearly understood what Prince Lin San was trying to tell him. He could try to aim for it but it was clear that he might not even have the chance to even see the cover unless he blurted out his real identity.

But it was a secret that he didn’t wish for others to know. At least, not until he was ready to face so many people who were aiming for his life.

"Can you enter?"

"As a matter of fact, I did enter once." Prince Lin San let out a faint laugh. "I can only choose one martial art before leaving the library because it’s really restricted. There are a lot of elders stationed there to guard the palace."

"Oh."

"When your identity is revealed, you might be able to get one chance in the future. But I can’t say about this for sure because it’s not certain."

Lin Xiao nodded. He also didn’t want to put his hope on something that he wouldn’t be able to get for sure. It would be better for him to focus on the skills that he had learned so far in the academy.

"My skill’s name is Dragon Sleeve Sword because my attack usually just a thrust. It’s one of the few common skills there."

"Uh wait a moment."

"Yes?"

"Are the names of the skill in the Imperial Family library all related to Dragon?" For some reason Lin Xiao felt that the name of the skills he had been hearing so far were all related to dragon.

"Yes."

"Blasphemy! Who the hell would think of such low level technique by using the dragon’s name? I can’t accept this!" Inside Lin Xiao’s consciousness, Lin Hu was going on a rampage. He couldn’t believe that there would be so many people who would be using the name Dragon for their lousy skill.

What the hell!

They were all should be burned by the real dragon fire so that they could see that they were not strong at all!

Lin Xiao could feel his ear ringing and instantly chose to disconnect his ear from his consciousness. That way, he would not need to hear Lin Hu’s rampage over the fact that the Dragon’s name was being used for a lot of skill.

Prince Lin San looked at his twin brother. "I can teach you if you want but it might not suit your move."

"Yes."

He could see that Prince Lin San’s attack was one that was fused with the essence of wind and darkness. As his element was that of lake... it would be harder for him to learn the skill and Lin Xiao didn’t have any time to waste.

"Identifying your opponent weakness can speed up battle faster. When you reach high rank, there are many battles that will be determined within just few seconds. One wrong move and you’re done for."

"I understand." Lin Xiao had known about that. The more powerful an attack would be, the faster a battle would end.

When they reached high rank, one second or even a split second would determine whether they could stay alive or not.

"Let’s continue the training. Whenever there are beasts coming, I’ll teach you how to identify their weakness."

"Got it."

Thus, the training continued.

...

Six months passed from the time they came to the mountain.

Lin Xiao mastered the other skills and learned how to identify the weakness of his opponents in battle even though he still lost miserably most of the times. Most of the times, they were only facing beasts, but there were also times when he would be facing humans who got attracted by the number of beast coming here.

After all, it was public knowledge that beast was also good at finding treasure.

If there were a lot of beasts coming in this direction, it just meant that there must be a treasure somewhere within the mountain.

"Left ear?" Lin Xiao asked while jumping around to evade the monkey, which was also Beast Rank 4, in front of him.

"Wrong!" Prince Lin San shouted from the back. He was watching the fight leisurely while leaning on the wall and drank tea. The utensil was clearly kept inside his Spatial Ring and he took them out whenever he wanted to enjoy himself.

The others were simply speechless at his action.

No one would keep exquisite utensil in their Spatial Ring, alright? They were all already busy to keep other items that was required for their cultivation and other matter.

Lin Xiao jumped to the back. He focused his attention to the monkey in front of him because his body turned into blur and reappeared behind the monkey’s back.

Moon Evasion!

"The back of the left ear!"

"Now you got it right!"

Slash!

Kieeek!

The monkey shrieked loudly but Lin Xiao didn’t let it attack back. His grip on the sword changed as he stabbed it toward the monkey’s head through the back of the left ear.

Stab!

His eyes glowed in blue color.

Chilling Lake Sword, Fifth Stance!

The sword immediately ripped apart the monkey while the rest of them sensed the slight change in the temperature.

It seemed that the name Chilling was not for show. It was truly a skill that was capable of changing the temperature.

Tep!

Lin Xiao retreated back and looked at his twin brother. His lips twitched. "You’re enjoying tea while watching the fight?"

"Do you expect me to do nothing? The tea is nourishing and can help me reach Golden Core Stage faster." Prince Lin San rolled his eyes and looked at Lin Xiao with amusement. "Do you think that I’ll drink ordinary tea?"

"How do you have so many treasures?"

"Our parents left it behind for us. Now, do you want some?"

Lin Xiao looked at the tea then called Lin Hu. The dragon scoffed, "That kind of tea is not suitable for Lake Element."

"No thanks, San."
