Chapter 91: The Sinners Downfall [1]

I finally arrive at a point where im inside the Base of my enemy, and you won't guess how much of a hassle it was to kill every single one outside the forest only for the three of us to enter without alerting anyone. Reality is often disappointing, I even experience the troubles of a Harem protagonist you thought it would be fun, but that's just the tip of the iceberg my friend. What I did a while ago to Lillith would be the trigger for my demise but that story is for another time, so without further ado let's start the show

With the unforeseen attack of an unknown enemy which leaked their poisons through the very vents that connect the airflow from within their Base to the outside world contaminated with their poison. The ones that were able to act before they were affected grabbed the nearest mask making them untouchable

Yet they remain indoors while their communicators were used as a means to let the news of their sudden ambush leaked to the other members along with the Guild Leaders. Holding on to their weapons accompanied by a sense of fear, after they heard about the news of how their numbers were reduced to 2000 members to a mere 1400

The crest that detected the heartbeat of their members was nowhere to be found leaving only the System to detect their overall numbers which were instantly reduced by 600 without them being warned

[If everyone is listening to your alpha's message then you better follow my orders, don't even think about leaving your post. Our enemies had launched an attack. Their identities have not been revealed before we give out the next of our orders. In any case, barricade the entrance, wield your weapons, and don't even think about trying to be a hero. There's a difference between being brave and being an idiot, The Raging Hyena should take this matter seriously]

Whilst they were giving the orders to ensure every one of their safety, the three of them were listening to any sort of feed that they would intercept with their stolen communicator. Even hearing some news about one of the rooms being torn to pieces by two leopards that had a peculiar color, one had a Grey fur that would disappear once it came in contact with the shadows. While the other one wasn't as a threat compared to the Grey leopard that was reported to kill anyone in cold blood within its path, the Light orange leopard was by far the most troubling out of the two. It was the opposite compared to the Grey one its weak on attack and slow with its movement it would cause an area of effect skills, creating a blinding light, taunting them until their lives would soon be taken by an attack that came from its partner

'So that's their strategy to counter our advances, Sage do you think that we should push forward, or should I play it safe?'

[You're asking me for some advice? If I were to judge your situation, it's most likely that you should push through their numbers. They have better knowledge of their surroundings, they know where the location of every single item in place. If you're thinking of making this a drawn-out battle then you might as well as say you want to waste a drop of your Elixir]

'That seems to be the case, im not even sure about the exact numbers of the members inside the Base, it looks like they might have predicted that we're listening to their messages. Seeing as the Guild Leader didn't leak their numbers and only told them a few orders before he hung up, I might as well check on the mansion's conditions, Jin must have activated the traps,'

[I guess you have a conscience, it's a little bit unbelievable that someone like you can be concerned about another person]

He entered the Player server where he quickly switch to a direct message with his friend, only to find that he couldn't send a message as the other side had temporarily blocked him for some unknown reason

[System: The player is currently unavailable to be a target of direct messaging]

'What the hell, why isn't it working? why can't I message did something happen in my absence did he get in some sort of trouble? Calm down Morris let's think this through if I leave now I can still make it the Elixir can revive anyone as long as their corpses haven't reached the time limit,'

"Christ what's with you did something happen?" Airis left her post when she saw his face which was filled with worry and panic

"Did your headache reoccur? Stay still for a second Christ Im gonna help you," Lillith activated her skill when she made contact with his body by applying the Mana within her body along with her regenerative capabilities to aid him with no signs of his condition getting any better

His concern that was able to be seen through his face attracted the attention of both Airis that was guarding the entrance and Lillith who was sitting on his lap while she wrap her arms around his waist. Something shocking enough for his expressionless face to be affected, something that never happened within his time within The World Of Trials he felt worried until he received a prerecorded message from none other than Jin

[System: You've received a prerecorded message from a direct message]

'Is it Jin? What did he send,'

[Direct message to Arrogant smith

Arrogant smith: Dear shit face if you're reading this then just do your job, Im someone thats not easy to be eliminated by a few pricks. Plus im an Avatar it won't be easy to bring someone like me down unless they're tough and stronger than me but that won't happen I learned a thing or two about playing dirty

—From your shitty friend Jin Kurenai]

After his friend's reassuring letter he calmed down after he made a blunder that worried both of his comrades. Without anything left for him to do he sets out to continue with his plans after he wastes his time by sitting in a chair while the members of the guild were being slaughtered as they walk through the bloody path that was created by his Familiars. Every room they had entered had the doors broken and the inside ruined of their designs without a trace of their bodies to be seen, as the two have changed that even he was surprised to hear of their ability
