Chapter 2409: More Generals



Mia and the Humanoid figure are clashing.

Mia's body is almost stationary except for the nine heads of hers that are moving rapidly. The surroundings are covered in the darkest shades of violet Sam has ever seen. She has let out her most potent venoms.

The general seemed to have been effected by that greatly.

His movements are slow, clumsy and he wasn't able to do much damage to Mia. Now only Sam truly understood how weak they are against the truly potent venoms and poisons.

The general that is supposed to be at the peak of Divine plane initiation is not even able to put a proper fight against Mia. But Mia also didn't have a complete upper hand. Sure, she is keeping him at bay and troubling him, but even her most potent poison is not killing that creature.

Maybe the difference in the cultivation levels finally showed its drawback there.

But Sam is not too worried. This is more than enough. Once the opponent is slow and weak, Sam can do whatever he wanted with them.

He immediately made a move. He activated water fusion and merged himself into the sea. Within the next two minutes, the general suddenly felt the water around it get denser. The water is offering so much resistance than usual that even the punch he was about to throw turned into a slow motion activity.

Mia took this chance and made a move.

Two of her heads chomped down on it as if the resistance has no effect on her whatsoever. The General is captured with Sam's minimal involvement and he used spatial blink to get him away from the water. Mia also followed him by entering the divine dimension.

Sam left along with the general and Mia.

He went back to Triala's settlement. He locked himself in the room and started testing the general. He still has not decided on how to proceed with clearing the water abomination lackeys. He cannot use vines under water. They would need the support of the land.

Even if he can somehow create a vine that could grow on the sea bed enduring all the pressure, the sea itself is too. The creatures can escape by taking the depth to their advantage.

He can maybe try a similar approach to what he did with the sky abomination lackeys. But to think of something he hasn't yet understood the level of influence and domination the water abominations have over the sea.

To think that there is only one general even when Mia killed so many groups... he led him to do some serious and grave speculations.

Sam went neck deep into his research, after around half an hour...

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

He was disturbed a knock. He frowned and went to open it.

Triala wore an anxious expression and greeted him.

"Sorry to disturb you. But I think there is some problem now."

"What happened?"

"The water abomination groups surrounding our settlement are being attacked. The sky abomination groups as well. We don't know what happened, but the scouts have noticed the presence of generals. They are heading here right now."

"A water abomination general?"

Sam asked in surprise. And Triala nodded.

He did know how many water abomination lackey groups are present in the surroundings. Not many. Four at best and five even if they decide to stretch it a bit.

If it was sky or land abomination groups, Sam would have understood why a general would come out. That's their pattern. But Mia has killed a dozen groups and only then did she encounter a general.

In fact, he is unsure if the general came searching for Mia or if she entered the general's territory.

But now, four groups and the general is here?

Sam knew that something is up.

"How many generals are coming?"

"Two from the Sky abomination and one from water abomination."

Sam immediately sent the bird puppets in the general direction of the lackey groups. Since they are coming, there is no need for him to worry too much about it. He took care of generals before and he can do it again.

But he needs to know what triggered this change.

And soon he got the answers. The abomination groups are all dead. Surprisingly, the sky abomination lackey groups are dead because of the vines.

This made no sense, because Sam saw that there are no vines in the surroundings. Vines won't spread without any direct contact. The whole of the mountain is normal without any sign of the vine, but the peak where the creatures resided are full of those vines.

And the vines are programmed to be this efficient against the sky abomination lackeys.

It is not that they won't work, after all Sam did identify some common genetic factors between all three types of abominations. Their genetic sequences are only a tad bid different. Less than one percent infact.

So, the sky abominations would definitely be targeted by the vines if they came into contact. However, the vines feed on the vitality more than anything else. The land abominations are full of it, but the sky abominations... not so much.

So Sam directed the bird puppet to take a closer look.

And he noticed something.

Stab wounds.

It seems like the creatures are weakened after they were tackled by the vines and someone finished them off with the stab wounds.

He also noticed something else.

The marks of the juice. The juice that is eerily similar to the one that comes out of the special

fruits of the vine.

He can put two and two

ether. Someone used the fruit to make the vine appear on the peak

and used it to deal with these creatures.

After reaching this conclusion, Sam didn't care much.

In fact, he welcomed it. He needs to clear all these creatures anyway, so it didn't matter how they are being cleared. Even if someone is trying to lure generals towards him, he is perfectly

fine with it.

As he just finished his information, the generals appeared. All three of them at the same time. Two creatures flying and one creature walking. All humanoids. The flying creatures had wings sprouted on the back and their faces have beaks. The water creature obviously had scales and much like the first general, those scales are all golden.

Sam turned to Triala and said.

"Tell everyone to get inside. I will deal with them with my beasts. No one should come or

interfere.

Also contact the scouts and tell them to not come in between. They should stay outside until

this battle is over.

And tell them not to worry too much. It will be over very quickly.

As Sam said, he jumped off the wall.

In the middle of the jump, wind fusion has been activated and the wings came out of his back. Then he activated fire elemental fusion.

Like a humanoid torch with wings on his back, he zoomed towards the first flying general.

*SCREECH*

The first sky general came at him with full speed. One good thing with these creatures is that they don't have any elemental affinities. It would have been much more troublesome

otherwise.

Sam was about to directly clash with the creature. But right before that...

*BOOM*

A large golden flaming sphere exploded with him as the origin. The sphere is big enough to fitn/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

a hundred people inside. The sky general didn't stop. It lunged into the center of the flames as

if it could sense Sam.

And it is right, Sam came out of that burning golden flames. Right before his fist could touch the fist of the creature, his body suddenly disappeared.

In the place of the body, the fist of the creature hit a pack of metal cards.

Even before the fist could touch them, the residual force made the cards spread wide almost

surrounding the creature.

At that time, from within the golden flames, Yanwu appeared with his glowing golden

feathers.

Taking a deep breath and activated his bloodline skill.

*BOOM*

The streak of golden inferno hit one of the cards and all the cards activated with infernos of

their own.

*SCREEECCCCCCHHHHHH*

The general screamed in such agony that even the explosion of almost a hundred infernos is

drowned.

The shock of the explosion is so high that second sky general and water general that are far behind the first sky general could feel it.

The second sky general which also has a natural aversion against the flames almost stopped in

the tracks.

However that sudden shock subsided the moment it sensed the foreign presence behind it.

Sam appeared with his wings spread wide open and flames burning brighter than ever.

As a punch came at him, he slipped to the side and launched a fire ball on the creature's

stomach.

The creature was blowing to the side. But it got its balance pretty quickly and came to attack

Sam.

*BOOM*

Once again, Sam created a sphere of explosion.
