Earlier, after they had finished eating, they had all retired into James' tent, except for Lily, Fenwick, and James.

"Lily will go to bed once you close your restaurant. Until then, Lily will help!" Lily replied adamantly.

Lucian sighed, "Alright, but if you get tired, make sure you go to bed."

"...Okay," Lily agreed reluctantly.

As soon as the barrier vanished, the guard bowed and respectfully informed him, "Chef Lucian, there is a customer wanting to eat at your restaurant. Should I kick him out or let him enter?"

Lucian glanced at the chubby young man, and then said to the guard, "You can remove your pressure and let him enter."

"Very well." The guard nodded and instantly retracted his pressure, finally allowing Li Yong to see the light.

'I'm alive.' He thought as he fell onto his knees. That pressure had been too terrifying despite only one Mage Rank separating them.

When Lucian saw the young man dazedly kneeling on the ground, he could not help but frown, "Hey, if you need to take a dump, go find someplace else. This is a restaurant, not a litter box."

"Big Brother Lucian, how can a Human use a litter box? I thought they were only for cats." Lily whispered curiously from beside him. She acted like she was genuinely curious, but Lucian heard a hint of mischief in her hoarse, altered voice.

However, even though she spoke quietly, the Mages in the makeshift restaurant were all at a Rank where they could even hear a mosquito buzzing far away. Therefore, her words were clearly heard by them.

'This little girl.' Fenwick shook his head with a happy smile as he gazed at her like a doting father looking at his daughter. 'She really is much happier now.'

As for James and the guards, they were shocked by the words that came out of Lucian's mouth, whose expression was always indifferent. They even had to do a double take just to make sure they were not hallucinating.

He quickly composed himself and stood up. After his earlier bravado had been shattered, he was much more humble now. This was not the place where he could be arrogant.

"Lily take him to a separate table and give him our restaurant's menu." Lucian simply said, then turned around and returned to the kitchen.

Lucian had his little fun, and now it was time to get back to work.

"Follow me, please," Lily said, then led the chubby young man to an unoccupied table, who immediately took a seat.

Once he was sitting, Lily placed a menu before him and continued, "Here is the menu for Transcendence. Please read it carefully and thoroughly before giving your order."

Li Yong nodded as he opened the menu.

'What the… Why are there so many rules for a mere restaurant?'

With each rule he read, his eyes widened until they were the size of golf balls.

Meanwhile, the young monk, Anselm, and five others, who were watching what would happen to Li Yong all had wide smiles on their faces.

'If he can enter, then I can as well.' They all thought similarly and made their way to the makeshift restaurant.

Back at the restaurant, the menu in Li Yong's hand fell onto the table with a thud. Despite the noise, he remained dazed.

It was not as though he was poor. He had plenty of Low-Grade Mana Stones. After all, as the third son of the Li Family's Clan Head from Fire Cloud City, he had access to plenty of resources.
