Chapter 75 - Pokemon Master Of Tactics: 75
After Alex and Steven left Mt. Moon cave, they went their separate ways. Alex and Steven got along well and exchanged their contact details before their path parted away.
Alex, who had come from Mt. Moon cave, saw a big city in the distance.
Cerulean City was a big and vibrant city with strange gym leaders. The gym leaders of Cerulean City is not Misty, but The Sensational Sisters, Daisy, Violet, and Lily. Alex heard that the mother of Misty and her sisters died a couple of months ago, so it is not yet decided who will be the new gym leader of Cerulean City. The Alliance recognized the talent of the 4 sisters and did not deprive them of their rights as the new gym leader of Cerulean City as long as they made excellent progress within 1 year.
Alex and his Pokémon were slowly walking down Mt. Moon Mountain as they were walking down the path to Cerulean City.
This path was relatively safe for trainers because hardly any strong Pokémon appears on this path.
Alex had Shieldon fight these weak Pokémon to train him a little bit.
After 1 hour, Alex and his Pokémon arrived. Alex noticed that it wasn't getting dark yet and immediately went to the black market of Cerulean City to buy all the Silver Pokémon he could find there. He doesn't want to miss such a natural opportunity to earn money.
As Team Rocket Captain, Alex can easily see on his TRH device where the entrance to the black market is.
Every black market has different ways of getting in and out, which are not easy to find if you are not from a criminal organization.
Alex followed his TRH device that leads to a cave outside the city. This cave was hidden in the middle of the forest and was not easy to find if you don't know where exactly it is and how to reach there.
He saw 20 Zubat and 10 Golbat hanging on the ceiling in the cave and watching him with a cold expression. Alex, who looked at the info of these Pokémon, noticed that the horde of Pokémon was not weak. The Zubat were between LV 13-25, and the Golbat were between LV 22-36.
If Alex were to enter this cave by force, he would probably be defeated with the collected power of these Pokémon. 30 v/s 5 Pokémon is no joke.
Alex took out the Team Rocket Captain uniform and put it on. The Zubat and Golbat in the cave saw Alex in uniform and began to ignore Alex.
This cave is a special entrance for Team Rocket members who want to enter the black market.
Alex and his Pokémon entered the cave and walked for a few minutes. Fortunately, the cave was lightly lit so that Alex didn't have to move in the dark.
After a few minutes, Alex saw this cave end with a door and a guard. The guard at the door had a bored expression on his face and was wearing a Team Rocket Elite member uniform.
The guard saw that Alex was a Team Rocket captain and woke up immediately. He saluted Alex and immediately opened the door for Alex.
Alex, who felt respect and fear from this man, realized how it feels being a Team Rocket Captain compared to a Team Rocket member.
He entered the black market of Cerulean City and looked for valuable Pokémon in the black market.
Alex walked around for a relatively large black market for 1 hour and bought every Silver Pokémon he could find. He didn't forget to change his clothes and face in between shopping to not attract any attention. He had already looked at 70% of the Pokémon on this black market and found 14 Silver Pokémon among them.
When he was just looking at another Pokémon, he was completely surprised by what he saw.
-------------------------------------------------- -
Pokémon: Butterfree
LV: 23
Type: Bug / Flying
Abilities: Compound Eyes
Gender: Female
Potential: Shallow Gold
Moves:
- Tackle, String Shot, Harden, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder,Stun Spore, Psybeam, Supersonic, Quiver Dance,
- (Innate Talent) Rest, (Innate Talent) Toxic, (Innate Talent) Dream Eater
-------------------------------------------------- ---
Alex, who saw the Innate Talent moves, couldn't help but be disappointed. The fact that the Pokémon with Shallow Gold Potential had such inadequate Innate Talent moves was just plain sad.
He thought, "Hmm... Even though it has poor Innate talent moves, it's still a Shallow Gold Pokémon. But the Pokémon species is a little too weak for my taste. It just has too many disadvantages to train. I prefer to sell it. I already have an idea of how I can make the most out of these Pokémon."
Alex went to the stand and bought this Pokémon for 10,000 Pokédollars.
The trainer who saw that Alex was ready to spend so much for a Butterfree couldn't help but laugh inwardly. When he took the money from Alex, he couldn't help but think, "I'm lucky that I got such an idiot as a customer. He was willing to pay five times as much for a Pokémon. What an idiot."
If Alex knew what this man was thinking, he would probably look at him with a disdainful look. That idiot just lost his chance to make 8,000,000 Pokédollars.
S-Talent (Gold) Pokémon are relatively difficult to buy and always cost at least 5,000,000 Pokédollars. Often times they are only found and sold at auction by Big Criminal Organizations. Even the weakest Pokémon species are sold for at least 5,000,000 Pokédollars. And if a strong Pokémon species like Dragon Pokémon are being sold, the price can go up 100 times. Of course, S-Talent Dragon Pokémon are rarely sold by other trainers, so it appears in an auction at most every 3 years.
