Paragon of Death

Chapter 154

154 Chapter 153: Intimidating the allied forces

Damon slowly rose to his feet with a stern look on his face. His injuries healed and his face regained color. His doubtful eyes fell on the figure not too far away and his mind raced at the thoughts thrown into his head. Going against Micheal first blood was an indirect way of antagonizing Cassius, especially if he has no reason to.

Right now, even though it seems like he is the one to make the final decision, the reality remains that the people in the room had already made the decision for him. The looks on their faces, their gaze, and their pensive looks were more than enough for Damon to know what they wanted.

“Fine, but then we will still have to deal with the army in front of my doorstep.” Damon yawned before stepping forward but he was stopped by Elsa.

“Sit... all of you that are hurt. Our little prank has put them in a difficult position and it will take a little while before they end their argument and come at us again... for now, recover completely and we will deal with them immediately after” Elsa said with a stern look and Damon sighed.

The more hosts he brings into the fold, the less authority he has but that didn’t really bother him. These people were really strong and capable enough to be considered powerful allies. For some reason, Damon felt that as long as they were together, nothing else could kill them.

“Cool. Cool..” Damon sighed as he sat down and shut his eyes tightly, not bothering with the three first blood present. He trusted Cassius to put them through his plans and intentions. His methods and goals are quite simple so it shouldn’t be difficult for people to understand his thoughts.

.................

Meanwhile, at the foot of the blood mountain....

“You had the nature guardian host with you all through, breaking the agreement made four centuries ago! All hosts must be destroyed entirely, yet you went against the collective agreement of the people and because of this, over fifty thousand died. How do you plan to pay for your sins, old queen” The son of heaven said with fierce rage and disdain in his eyes.

.....

As a man who has lived for quite a while, he has come across numerous hosts especially since the human race has the highest rate of hosts popping up among them. He has seen does who meant well, those who he was reluctant to kill but to honor the agreement made centuries ago, he went ahead and killed them all

Just like the current situation now, he didn’t necessarily hate Damon or have any strong reason to kill him.

In fact, based on Damon’s contribution, he should be rewarded and not chased down like a thief but here they are. For the sake of that one agreement made by the leaders of all the races during the warring era.

He was willing to give up the life of the young lone wolf who had proven his loyalty to the kingdom and the royal family, yet he still put aside his personal feelings and prepared to kill the kid, weakening the Gyro Kingdom even more so what reason does the elf queen have for keeping a host alive?

In his opinion, the Elven queen has no excuse for letting her daughter who turned out to be a host live so long as to reach the champion realm.

There is no excuse.

“Calm down King Robert. The fact we got this far was because of Elsa’s prophetic abilities. We planned to get rid of her as soon as we use her to reach deal with those three!” Diana explained with a frown.

This argument has consumed too much time and for some reason, the son of heaven was taking it personally. The son of heaven was still furious and wanted to approach but he was blocked by Kaido who wore a stern look.

“We are the three star alliance sect and we won’t do anything to sabotage the current mission at hand. If they planned to use her as a pawn then they had good reasons for it. It simply didn’t go as planned so no, you may not argue this matter any further especially when we have already given the enemy close to thirty minutes to recover. This little argument may cost us this war.” Kaido said coldly

“May? The war has already been lost” A voice boomed above as fierce auras exploded from the top of the blood mountain, making many shiver.

Their eyes shifted to the figures above and they all trembled in fear.

“Cassius Blood, Michael Blood, Damian Blood, and Roselle Blood. The four true bloods!” everyone gasped in shock as they took a step back instinctively.

Besides these people were Damon the death guardian spirit host, Gin the force guardian spirit host, Cyrus the Life guardian spirit host, and Elsa the nature guardian spirit host!

There were eight people combined with enough strength to rival the peak spirit realm experts and below them, pouring out of the blood mountain like a flood was an undying army of over a million, led by the undead spirit realm expert, King Dormus!

Nine spirit realm experts and countless champion realm experts with most of them having the identity of the undead, meaning they cannot be killed unless Damon is killed.

Even the orc King felt his heart shiver in fear as they saw a scourge and a plague, not any normal army they have faced in the past.

Fear!

Buzzz!

The entire allied forces were shaken as they watched the enemy with squinted eyebrows. In the past, they could only win effortlessly because the enemy lacked spirit realm experts but now they had the full support of the blood clan, it was a different story altogether!

“Elsa...” The elf queen who has been silent all this while finally spoke up.

“There is nothing for us to talk about. After speaking to Damon we have decided to let you all leave this place alive.... For now, the blood mountain will have nothing to do with the rest of the world and as long as we are not attacked we will not retaliate. The time when the world can come and hunt hosts like dogs have passed.” Elsa said coldly with her hands trembling but Damon gently held onto her hand, only then did it stop shaking.

She looked Damon in the eyes and after a while, she looked away. All those standing below gazed at them with frowns on their faces. Now that the death mage has recovered alongside his team and has even gained far stronger allies, is there any need for them to be merciful?

They refused to believe someone as vengeful and crazy as Damon would let them leave easily. But then again, since those words came from Elsa and not Damon it was far more reliable, and considering the intimate moment these two just shared right now, many assumed their relationship was a bit more than normal.

Seated on horses with the undead army as thousand man commanders, Lucy and Klien watched Damon standing above with strange looks. While Klien was that of remorse, Lucy was pure jealousy. She believes she should be the one standing by Damon’s side and not Elsa.

“Why have you decided not to kill us? It feels far too convinenent and unbelievable for someone like you to show mercy” the son of heaven said with fierce fighting will in his eyes. Deep down he knew if they walk away now, they will never get the chance to win against Damon again.

“Because something bigger is coming... something bigger than you and I,” Damon said solemnly stunning everyone.

Buzzzz!

Did Damon the death mage, actually admit something bigger than him is out there?

Shock and fear ran down the spines of everyone and even the leaders of the three kingdoms present were moved as they realized Damon wasn’t lying. Someone at his level has no reason to lie like this just to survive.

They gazed at his figure and pondered for a few moments before the Orc King asked.

“What is this thing you speak of?” The orc king asked with a frown and only then did Damon reveal a sad smile.

“Michael Blood has the details... It will be a long story but in summary, If the four great kingdoms want to survive this invasion, I suggest you head back to your homes and fortify your kingdoms... as you have seen the blood mountain is powerful enough to protect itself and its people. So I will say this once, instead of having you all die off at the hands of the enemy and have your souls waste away, I would prefer to have you all as my undead soldiers, that way I can bring out the best in you all but they advised against so, do not fail. Protect your homes and kingdoms. Any kingdom that falls means the enemy will be able to focus more resources on the others... Do well to pass this message back to the dwarves, I will be leaving now” Damon snorted disdainfully before his body vanished.
