When washing their dresses and inner clothes was done, the problem was where would they put them to dry.

In the end, they could only place it in their small room, over the long stick that Ling'er previously used to create the border between their beddings.

"It's all done," Ling'er said as she placed her clothes to keep them dry in their room.

"I feel embarrassed to hang my inner clothes in front of him," Bing'er mumbled with a beet-red face as she didn't want to do the same as Ling'er.

"Do you want to put it outside then?" The crimson-haired beauty asked as they didn't have any other choice.

With a long sigh, Bing'er also placed them on the long stick one by one, taking them out from the bucket.

She was hesitating but her sister was right they didn't have another set of clothes as their dresses might get stained today again after battling beasts in the forest and They wouldn't want to place it outside where many strangers would be present to witness their personal belonging.

It was better to put it here rather than outside at least he didn't seem to be a pervert until now.

After the Shangguan sisters were done, they fixed their hair and clothes before walking out of the room.

They noticed the boy was waiting for them outside under a tree. He was sitting on the lush green grass as there was no bedding, making the verdant ground his comfortable seat.

"When did he come here? We didn't see him when we entered the room." Ling'er mumbled inwardly.

Earlier he had gone to meet Cang Xue and others after giving the Shangguan sisters two buckets of water to wash as he thought the girl might gonna take time to clean themselves.

When Yuena noticed the girls are returning to their room, she told Yue Yan about it. He hastily traveled to this place before the shangguan sisters came out of the room.

The boy patted the seat beside him and beckoned them to sit with a friendly gesture.

Ling'er frowned but approached him with her beloved sister as she sat at the seat beside him, and she asked, "What happened? Don't you wanna go to the forest to continue our mission?"

"Don't you wanna eat miss mad tyrant??" The boy asked in the same rhythm as he took out two-two peanut buns and arctic saffron cookies to hand to the crimson-haired beauty.

"Eh???" She didn't understand at first but her eyes widened seeing what was in his hand.

"Yes... yes..."  She nodded and hurriedly snatched the food from his hand as her face brightened at the sight of these peanut buns and arctic saffron cookies.

The girl was required to consume a lot to calm the appetite of her stomach caused by her double-horned mad tyrant spirit so she was happy at the sight of food.

Yue Yan took out more peanut buns and arctic saffron cookies to give to Bing'er

As she took the food, the girl said wholeheartedly, "Sorry."

"Why?" The boy asked with questioning eyes as he took out more food for himself.

"I misunderstood you earlier." She responded, her voice sincere.

"No worries. Just don't accuse me next time without knowing the complete truth." The boy said, Although he was not mad at her from the start but he didn't let go of this chance to make sure she wouldn't do the same next time.

At least this might help her to hesitate next time if similar thought ran through her mind where she may believe he had done something wrong.

The white-haired beauty nodded and took a bite from the peanut buns, eating her food quietly.

Shangguan Ling'er's mouth was stuffed with peanut buns as if someone would rob her of the food if she didn't eat them right away. She said with a muffled voice, "I'ma alh..shoo... Sooo...vvy,"

The girl wanted to say 'I'm also sorry' but the food caused her voice to not hear clearly even then she sounded adorable as she apologized for the earlier incident.

"Are you apologizing because you are worried that later you may not be able to get more food from me?" The boy asked with an amusing voice.

Shangguan Ling'er nodded shamelessly as her mouth was fully occupied with eating her food.

The boy didn't mind her as it was just a small misunderstanding and he wasn't planning to get mad and break away from them.

After they were done eating their breakfast, Yue Yan brought out water bottles to share with the Shangguan Sisters.

They didn't refuse his favor as the girls were used to his kind act of sharing food by now and they started considering him as a friend even though the white-haired beauty didn't fully trust him. However, her delicate heart was most of the time in chaos with unknown emotions regarding this boy.

Bing'er remembered something as her gaze moved to Yue Yan and asked, "What was it that Ling'er didn't want you to tell me?"

She rose her brows and directed the question toward the boy who stored the bottles in his inventory.

"She was..." Just as he was about to tell her, he felt a soft hand holding his face as the crimson-haired beauty hurriedly reached out with her palm to seal his lips from saying anything.

"Noooo....." The girl had unconsciously thrown herself at him as her hands were wrapped around his head to block his lips from revealing the embarrassing truth to her sister but she forgot she was too intimately sticking to the boy.
