I Play the Horror World as a Simulation Game

Chapter 123: Sharp perception, the third eye!

Ten minutes later.

In the dim corridor, the door opened.

Qin Nuo walked out with a calm expression, glancing at the mountain-cleaving knife in his hand, its tip dripping with fresh blood.

He touched the blood with his fingers, rubbed it, and raised an eyebrow: "When I stabbed that doll, it was full of cotton, yet it bled. Is it a doll possessed by a soul, or is it a ghost itself?"

Shaking his head to dismiss these pointless thoughts, he sheathed the knife and headed out of the corridor.

"Your ghostly methods are getting more and more refined," the Blood-Eyed Ghost remarked meaningfully.

"Child's Play was a childhood nightmare for a generation. As a kid, I would shiver under the covers, too scared to sleep with the new doll by the window."

"For others, the best way to eliminate childhood fears is to try hard to forget them."

"For me, the best way to eliminate them is to deal with the source of those fears."

"In short, a physical elimination."

Blood-Eyed Ghost: "..."

"What do we do next? The mess outside is still there."

Qin Nuo smiled without answering and walked out of the corridor.

In the aisles, quite a few store employees had gathered.

They were all standing around, looking at the mess and talking about it.

The masked ghost approached, and all the employees quickly stepped aside.

The sight before it made its voice carry a hint of gloom: "Where is the stock clerk responsible for this area?"

No one spoke up.

"It's me, I'm here!"

A figure suddenly ran over in a panic, pushing through the crowd, hands on knees, gasping for breath in front of the masked ghost.

The masked ghost stared at Qin Nuo, asking coldly, "I hope your answer satisfies me, or the consequences will be dire."

Qin Nuo looked panicked, trembling as he said, "A starving ghost suddenly barged in, grabbed things off the shelves and started eating without paying. I tried to stop it, but it flung me aside."

"After it was full, it grabbed a lot of expensive food to leave. My supervisor tried to stop it and got swallowed whole. I was so scared I fainted."

"When I woke up, it was already like this."

Hearing Qin Nuo's explanation, the eyes under the masked ghost's mask flickered a few times.

The other employees were unsettled by what they heard.

"This is quite a loss!"

"And a supervisor got eaten; this is a big deal!"Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"What are we going to tell the store manager when they return?"

All the supervisors were at a loss, fearing the so-called store manager.

The deputy manager stared directly at Qin Nuo: "Your answer doesn't satisfy me. This happened in your area, and you didn't handle it well."

"Someone needs to take the fall for this."

Qin Nuo's expression changed, and he quickly said, "I know where the starving ghost went. I can take you to chase it; it hasn't gone far."

The masked ghost was silent for a moment, then said indifferently, "No need."

"You'll compensate for everything lost. At the current prices, you'll have to work here for at least 50 years to pay it off."

"Now, you have two choices."

"One, I kill you now."

"Two, come with me, sign a 50-year labor contract, and compensate for the loss."

Qin Nuo's face was filled with panic, almost as if the words 'fear of death' were written on it, and he chose the second option without hesitation.

"Alright, come with me."

The masked ghost turned and walked away, with Qin Nuo trembling as he followed.

The other employees looked at him with sympathetic eyes, but more of them were gloating.

Ten minutes later.

The masked ghost led Qin Nuo into a room.

The store manager's office.

There weren't many things in the room, but countless account books were placed there.

The masked ghost seemed to have the power of telekinesis, as the account books flipped rapidly without wind.

A drawer opened automatically, and a contract floated out, landing on the desk.

The pen on the desk seemed to come to life, standing up and dancing on the paper, writing quickly.

Soon, a complete contract was formed, turning towards Qin Nuo, the pen's end pointing at him.

"Sign it."

Qin Nuo looked at the handwriting on the paper, not only recognizing it but also noting how neat it was, as if printed by a machine.

He lowered his head, picking up the paper and pen.

At that moment, the Blood-Eyed Ghost suddenly spoke: "Be careful."

Whoosh!

A sound of air being torn suddenly erupted, and Qin Nuo's right hand involuntarily raised, grabbing a black spike aimed at the host's skull.

The attacker was the masked ghost.

The masked ghost stared at Qin Nuo, saying, "The ghost inside you reacts quite quickly."

Qin Nuo squinted at him and asked, "Deputy manager, didn't you say signing the contract would be fine? This isn't very honest, is it?"

The masked ghost snorted coldly, "You didn't intend to spend 50 years of your freedom here, did you?"

"The starving ghost ate a terrifying ghost and brazenly stole expensive goods from the store. It wouldn't dare do so without someone inciting it."

"From the first glance, I sensed something was off in your eyes."

"Tell me, what is your purpose for sneaking in?"

Qin Nuo hadn't expected the masked ghost to be so perceptive, and he smirked, "Why don't you guess?"

Crack!

His right hand, covered in corpse spots, emitted a domineering ghost power, and the black spike cracked and shattered in an instant. His large hand reached for the masked ghost.

The masked ghost retreated like a phantom, easily dodging.

"The ghost inside you is too weak. If you think you can rely on it to deal with me, you're just being foolish."

"Behave, and you'll suffer less."

The masked ghost glanced disdainfully at Qin Nuo's right hand.

A withered corpse hand extended from under its black robe, five fingers closing together.

Instantly, everything in the room floated into the air.

An invisible pressure spread out, pressing down on Qin Nuo.

In an instant, Qin Nuo was drenched in sweat, his body feeling as if it bore the weight of a thousand pounds.

"Will you confess yourself, or should I use my methods to ask?"

Qin Nuo stared at his right hand, struggling to speak: "Buddy, didn't you say to provoke it and see what happens?"

"Now's your chance, time to show your stuff!"

The masked ghost's eyes were filled with mockery: "Looks like you won't learn without some suffering..."

The voice suddenly stopped.

The masked ghost's eyes slowly narrowed.

Qin Nuo's right hand was covered in a layer of blood-red light, dense black veins protruding from the skin, crawling up half his body.

A terrifying ghost power instantly dissolved the masked ghost's telekinetic force.

It was stunned, and in the next moment, that right hand reached for it with unbelievable speed.

The masked ghost snorted coldly, not dodging, raising its withered arm to grab as well.

The moment the two hands met in the air, it was like two bullets colliding, unleashing a terrifying impact.

In an instant, the masked ghost's previously disdainful eyes were gradually replaced by astonishment.

In the reflection of its eyes, its arm was torn apart like thin paper, rapidly shredding into countless pieces.

Even the bones were quickly pulverized!

Qin Nuo's right hand instantly clamped onto the masked ghost's throat, slamming it against the wall.

The wall caved in, spiderweb-like cracks spreading out in all directions.

In the masked ghost's horrified eyes, countless black veins squirmed on Qin Nuo's demonic arm.

The skin tore, revealing a third terrifying blood-red eye, glaring fiercely at the masked ghost!

In those few seconds, the masked ghost's mind went blank.

It felt the chill of its spine spreading throughout its body, its trembling form instinctively fearing...

"What kind of ghost is this?!"
