Chapter 261 Morgana Flees, but Another Danger Approaches
Upon hearing this, a surge of anger welled up inside Dean Bruce. "You wish! I will never join your evil organization!"
Morgana sneered. "You're refusing a toast and asking for a beating. Since you're so ungrateful, don't blame me for being rude."
With that, she waved her wand, and a powerful wave of dark energy shot toward Dean Bruce and the others. Dean Bruce and his team quickly cast their spells to defend, but Morgana's strength was overwhelming. They were soon forced to retreat under the relentless onslaught.
"Professor Dean, what should we do?" Putin Hawthorne asked anxiously.
Dean Bruce gritted his teeth. "Stay calm, everyone! We fight together! I don't believe she can stay this powerful forever!"
With that, he swung his wand again, engaging in an intense battle with Morgana. Putin Hawthorne, Alice, Delina Reba, and the others joined in, fighting side by side with Dean Bruce.
However, Morgana's power was too great. They quickly found themselves in a dire struggle. Dean Bruce realized that this situation couldn't continue, and he needed to come up with a solution fast.
Just then, he suddenly remembered the magical simulation feature the system had given him. Though he had only used this feature once before, he knew this could be his only chance.
"System, activate the magical simulation feature!" Dean Bruce silently commanded.
The system responded instantly: "Magical simulation feature activated. Please provide details of the target magic."
Dean Bruce didn't hesitate. He immediately input the information on Morgana's dark magic into the system. The system began processing quickly, and soon it provided a solution.
"Host, here is the incantation and motion to counter Morgana's dark magic," the system informed him. "Please proceed with casting immediately."
Dean Bruce felt a surge of hope in his heart. He followed the system's instructions without delay, reciting the incantation and performing the required gestures. As he did, a powerful surge of light magic began to flow within him.
"Light's Judgment!" Dean Bruce shouted. A blinding beam of light shot from his hand, heading straight for Morgana.
Seeing this, Morgana's face changed dramatically. She hadn't expected Dean Bruce to break her dark magic and counter it with such powerful light magic.
"Impossible!" Morgana gasped. "How could you possibly counter my magic?"
Dean Bruce didn't answer her. He coldly replied, "Evil can never defeat justice. Today, you are destined to fail!"
As he spoke, the beam of light reached Morgana. She fought with all her might to block it, but in the end, she was struck by the light, sending her flying through the air.
"Professor Dean, you did it!" Putin Hawthorne and the others cheered as they watched the scene.
Dean Bruce, however, did not share in their joy. He knew that while Morgana had been temporarily repelled, the threat of the Dark Enforcer organization was far from over. He had to continue strengthening his own power to better protect the Magic Academy and the world.
"Don't celebrate too soon," Dean Bruce said in a deep voice. "The Dark Enforcer organization hasn't been completely wiped out yet. We need to continue fortifying our defenses and enhance our reconnaissance efforts."
Putin Hawthorne and the others nodded in agreement. They understood that the battle was far from over, and they had to remain vigilant and prepared at all times.
Although Morgana had been knocked back, she hadn't suffered any severe injuries. She stared at Dean Bruce with eyes full of resentment and fury.
"Dean Bruce, you'll regret this!" Morgana gritted her teeth. "I will come back for revenge sooner or later!"
With that, she vanished into the night, dissolving into a shadow.
Dean Bruce's eyes hardened, and a look of determination flashed across his face. "Morgana, don't even think about it! I will never join your evil organization, and I will never sell my soul for power!"
Morgana sneered, a dangerous gleam in her eyes. "Hmph, refusing a toast and asking for a beating. Dean Bruce, do you really think you can keep this up forever? Let me tell you, this world is cruel without power, you're nothing!"
Dean Bruce gripped his wand tightly, fearlessly meeting Morgana's gaze. "Power is important, but so is justice and faith. I, Dean Bruce, swear to protect justice with my life and will never bow to evil!"
Morgana's expression grew darker as she stared at him. "Fine, if you're so stubborn, then don't blame me for what comes next. Today, I'll show you what true dark power really is!"
With that, Morgana raised her wand, and an overwhelming wave of dark energy began to coalesce around her, forming a realm of darkness. The air within the domain felt thick and oppressive, heavy enough to make it difficult to breathe.
Dean Bruce and the others could feel the immense power emanating from the dark domain, and a sense of crisis surged within them. But they didn't retreat. Instead, they stood close together, ready to face Morgana's attack as one.
"Everyone, be careful! Morgana's power is immense, and we must give everything we have!" Dean Bruce shouted.
Putin Hawthorne and the others nodded, their eyes glowing with resolve. They knew this battle would be exceptionally difficult, but they were ready. They had made a vow to protect justice and the academy with their lives.
Morgana, seeing the unwavering determination in their eyes, was filled with rage. She hadn't expected them to be so stubborn, unwilling to yield to her power.
"Then die, all of you!" Morgana roared, raising her wand and unleashing a fierce attack toward Dean Bruce and the others.
The dark power surged like a relentless tide, sweeping toward Dean Bruce and his group. They quickly cast their spells to defend, but Morgana's attack was too powerful. Before long, they were forced to retreat step by step.
"This is bad. At this rate, we won't last much longer!" Putin Hawthorne said urgently.
Dean Bruce gritted his teeth, his mind racing to find a solution. He knew that they had to break through Morgana's attack quickly, or they would all be doomed.
Just then, Alice suddenly stepped forward. "Dean, let me try!"
Dean Bruce looked at Alice, seeing the determination in her eyes, and hope surged within him. "Alright, Alice, be careful!"
Alice nodded, then closed her eyes, beginning to chant a complex spell. As she spoke the incantation, a brilliant light began to radiate from her, as if a mysterious power was surging through her.
"What spell is this?" Morgana asked in surprise, staring at Alice. She hadn't expected this seemingly delicate girl to be capable of casting such powerful magic.
Alice did not answer Morgana's question. She simply continued chanting the spell. Suddenly, her eyes snapped open, and she waved her wand, sending a blinding beam of light toward Morgana.
The light seemed to carry limitless power, instantly piercing through Morgana's dark domain and shooting toward her. Morgana's eyes widened in shock, and she quickly raised her wand to block. However, the light was too strong, and she couldn't completely deflect it.
"Thud!" Morgana was struck by the light, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Her face turned pale as she stared at Alice in disbelief. "You... how could you be this strong?"
Alice coldly gazed at Morgana. "Evil will never triumph over justice. Morgana, your end has come."
With that, she raised her wand again, preparing to launch the next wave of her attack. Morgana, seeing the situation, realized she no longer had any chance of winning. With a venomous glare, she muttered, "You'll regret this! I will be back!"
She then transformed into a shadow and vanished into the night sky. Dean Bruce and the others watched her retreating figure, a feeling of victory swelling in their hearts.
"We did it!" Putin Hawthorne shouted excitedly.
Alice and Delina Reba also smiled, knowing that although the battle had been tough, they had ultimately emerged victorious.
Dean Bruce looked at his students, their faces filled with excitement, and felt a sense of satisfaction in his heart. He knew that this victory was not just a blow to the Dark Enforcer organization but also a testament to their teamwork and strength.
"Alright, everyone, head back for now," Dean Bruce said. "While this battle may be over, our task is far from complete. We must continue strengthening the academy's defenses to prevent the Dark Enforcer organization from attacking again."
Putin Hawthorne and the others nodded in agreement and followed Dean Bruce back to the academy.
Once they arrived at the academy, Dean Bruce went straight to the principal's office. He felt that they couldn't keep reacting defensively like this there had to be a decisive, proactive solution to eliminate the threat once and for all.
"Principal," Dean Bruce began, "I believe we can't afford to keep defending passively. We need to take the initiative, locate the Dark Enforcer organization's headquarters, and eliminate them once and for all."
The principal frowned deeply. "Dean Bruce, you're right, but the Dark Enforcer organization is elusive. How do you propose we find their headquarters?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Dean Bruce paused, thinking for a moment, then replied, "We can look for clues from the previous battle. The Dark Enforcers are clever, but they always leave behind traces. If we analyze the details carefully, we should be able to uncover their hiding place."
The principal nodded in agreement. "Alright, then. I'll leave this matter in your hands, Dean Bruce. I'll fully support you just let me know if you need any resources."
Dean Bruce nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Principal. I'll get started right away."
With that, Dean Bruce left the principal's office and began preparing to investigate the Dark Enforcer organization's movements. He gathered Putin Hawthorne, Alice, and Delina Reba, and together, they began analyzing the details of the previous battle.
