Chapter 384: A stranger
Chapter 384: A stranger
After talking to Ethan, Tang Li wandered near to the deck of the luxury yacht before looking at the twinkling stars in the dark sky. Since the moon was hidden behind the clouds, the stars scattered the lights all around.
Although not as bright as the moon, she found them beautiful just as they were.
"SighPeople in love are all fools..." They should learn from Mo Yuhan and her. Have they ever been so childish like Ethan and Mark?! She proudly thought to herself.
'You are more childish than them,' A contradictory thought popped up in her mind but she pressed it down immediately.
It was a controversial topic and she decided not to dwell on it.
"Or maybe you young people don't know how to be smart while loving" She heard an old voice and turned around to find an old man sitting on a reclining chair with his arm covering half of his face.
Because of the darkness, she didn't notice his presence at all.
She sighed, "If one calculates everything before falling for someone, is it still love?" She did not agree with the old man's word. Being smart while falling for someone?
She was a smart and ruthless woman but some things need to be considered by heart.
If she had used her IQ on the sea beach on that fateful day 8 months ago, then she would not have been Mo Yuhan's wife today.
It was a very impulsive decision on her part. She admitted it. She was truly crazy to propose to a stranger for marriage.
But she threw away her decisiveness and mind out of the window and she went along with her heart, following her intuition.
What was crazier was that he accepted her proposal.
She knew that she might regret such a decision in the future but nevertheless, some risks are worth it, she had convinced herself.
If she had not taken that step back then, how could she fulfill her wish of marrying her little prince?
"You are thinking about someone," The man said breaking the silence around them.
She snapped out of her daze before walking towards the man.
It only then did she notice his blank stare. Although he seemed to be looking at her but his gaze was resting somewhere else, "I don't mean to be impolite but you."
"I can't see. I am blind," The man interrupted her before waving his hand offhandedly.
"I am sorry," She said.
"What's there to be sorry about? Even though I am blind, I can see everything better than you youngsters who are lovestruck fools," He patted the reclining chair beside him, "Come, sit here, girl"
Her lips twitched slightly. Was he insulting her?
Letting out a soft sigh, she took a seat beside him. Up so close, she noticed that the man might be around the same age group as Master Song but his facial features weren't visible to her because of his thick beard.
Half of his face was hidden in shadows.
"You are." She paused when he turned towards her. There was a long deep scar running down his eyebrows to his cheek.
That must be a big wound, she thought to herself.
"Is it that ugly?" The man asked when she didn't say anything. He assumed that she was frightened by his scar like everyone else.
"What's so ugly about it? Just another life experience," She calmly said without a single shift in her expression.
The man froze. In the forty-five years of his life, it was the first time someone said something like this.
"Lili"
Tang Li turned around to look at Mo Yuhan, "Old man, my sweetheart is here. It was nice meeting you."
"You Who are you calling old man? You can call me uncle instead,'' Considering her voice, she must be a young girl, he thought to himself.
"Whatever suits you.." She spoke and ran towards Mo Yuhan before wrapping her arms around his neck.
He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, "Who was that?"
"An unpredictable stranger" He raised an eyebrow at her words.
"Did Mark leave?" He asked.
She nodded.
He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to himself, "Then let's get back to the bed, shall we?" He whispered beside her ear.
"??!"
And without giving her a chance to respond, he carried her in his arms before walking away with large strides.
On the other side, the middle-aged man continued sitting on his chair while mindlessly humming a beautiful tune.
"Sir.." A young man walked towards him.
The man stroked his beard, "Speak," He said in a commanding tone.
"We've been watching over them. Someone left the yacht today using her chopper but we can't confirm her identity. Are we supposed to kill her according to our plan?" The young man asked.
"Maybe it was her who left the place in disguise using her private chopper?" The leader of the Kingsman Faction doubtfully asked.
The young man frowned as he looked at his boss, "How can it be? You were talking to her a few minutes ago. Sir, did you not know her identity? She is Tang Li, Son Tianyu's daughter." He was bewildered looking at the conflicting expression on the man's face.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
''Sir Are we still supposed to kill her?"
"Of course,' The man replied, stroking his beard.
"Then, shall I."
"No," The man cleared his throat, "Keep an eye on her for now. Tell me more about her like her likes and dislikes. I'll make an appropriate and torturous murder plan for her. Don't lay a finger on hercoughunless I ask you to. Right now, acquiring that thing is most important for us."
"_" Since when have you started making murder plans by getting their preferences? And your priorities have always been destroying the royal families and especially finishing of all the people close to Master Song. What happened to it now?
But he didn't dare to ask his doubts aloud so he bowed even though the man could not see him, "Yes, sir."
