Chapter 76: Vampire

You will get to know shortly, while the man from Nanyu spoke, he exerted his power on his leg and launched a surprise attack. As a swooshing sound echoed, he thrust his leg at Xia Yans head. It was obvious that his kick contained tremendous power!

Xia Yan wasnt good at wrestling, but his body had already reached a humans upper limit, and it was further strengthened by the Vampiric Curse. All of his bodys aspects and functions were reinforced by several folds, and this obviously included his reflexes. He swiftly blocked the kick of his opponent with his left arm and quickly closed in and thrust his fist at him.

The man from Nanyu was surprised and he quickly blocked the strike with both arms. But, he still got pushed back by five steps, and his shock was written all over his face.

Xia Yan felt like he had just struck thick leather, which absorbed most of his strikes power. If an ordinary person took this strike, then his bones would be broken, yet the man from Nanyu didnt suffer any injuries and he had only moved back by several steps.

[Is a wrestling experts body so strong?] Xia Yan was quite surprised. He had already tested his power with the Vampiric Curse, and even though he couldnt break hard cement into pieces, he could still punch a hole through a wall. It could be seen that the man had opened his mouth and lowered his head to bite on Xia Yans neck. He had four sharp and deathly pale one-inch long fangs. They looked quite terrifying!

Xia Yan was scared. If he got bitten by those fangs, his neck would surely be broken.

He moved his head aside in a fluster and managed to protect his neck, but he still felt a sharp stab of pain. The man from Nanyu had bitten his left deltoid muscle and sucked in a mouthful of blood.

A vampire? Xia Yan kicked the mans belly and finally managed to break free of his hold. Upon taking another look at him, he found out that his face had already turned deathly pale and his eyes were bloodshot. He still had two pairs of fangs and he really seemed like the vampires described in legends.

Im really sorry, but I have to disappoint you. Xia Yan quickly chanted an incantation and a skeleton soldier appeared between them. The skeleton clad in a black magic robe assaulted and attacked the vampire right away.

What the hell is this? The vampire was surprised by the black-robed man that showed up suddenly. He got caught off-guard and he suffered two heavy strikes; even his abnormally robust body got sent flying by the skeleton soldiers punches and he spat a mouthful of blood.

The skeleton soldier couldnt reply to his questions and it continued attacking without a pause. It strode forward and raised its leg to kick the vampire, at which said moment, the vampire sighted upon what was hidden beneath the black robe.

He sighted upon white leg bones, and even the mind of a vampire wavered upon seeing them.

He cried in surprise and quickly rolled on the ground to dodge the skeleton soldiers strike. At this moment, Xia Yan had already finished chanting another spell and he cast the Vampiric Curse upon the skeleton soldiers body.

The skeleton soldiers speed increased greatly and he quickly overtook the vampire, which was rolling on the ground. It kicked his waist and sent him flying like a ball. The vampire struck against a tree on the side of the road and the thick plane tree got broken into two, but the vampire also didnt get through this unscathed and his lower backbone got fractured.

Ah, damn! The vampire struggled on the ground and tried to stand up, but couldnt do so even after a long while. Upon seeing the skeleton soldier closing in on him to kick him again, he let out a pained cry and two pairs of thin wings emerged from his back. He quickly flapped his wings and started flying.
