Chapter 210: Round Two Versus Infernal Conjures

Chapter 210: Round Two Versus Infernal Conjures

"Zeke went on and began searching for Glade." This was the excuse which Heron came up with in order for the elites not to get embarrassed as they were still living within Zeke's cave and hideout. They were using up his resources after all and, with Zeke discarding them it was a shame to do so. Yet they couldn't care less as they needed the facilities to get stronger.

Thick skinned as the decision might be, they needed to develop in the shortest span of time possible. Of course they planned to apologize afterward but, for the time being they simply trained without rest.

They didn't see the gamer anymore because, as mentioned, the hideout was actually enormous. It extended to the whole of the Demon Continent of Helios and even beyond it. Thus, Zeke had multiple rooms he could use in order to perform the forging. Something which required solitude and space as [Chaos] wasn't as easy to craft as he thought of it to be.

Hence when the elites saw Zeke, it really felt like he came back after a long journey. In fact, Zeke looked a bit unkempt. With his hair all messy and dark areas forming below his eyes. It was a sign of all the stress that came about his research on the [Chaos Element].

Nevertheless, he still looked elegant. Something which he only had because of the genes coming from Sylvia.

The elites didn't know how they should communicate with Zeke anymore. The gamer read the atmosphere clearly. Knowing that this would be the natural response of the elites, he began the discussion himself.

"Heron told me that you guys came back asking for more." Zeke said, still sounding as indifferent and cold as the day he abandoned them, standing perfectly still with his hands in his pockets.

"You don't need to say anything to me. I just want this whole thing to be over with so that you won't try the same stunt a third time." Zeke furthered, sounding more like a villain than a hero.

Then, Jake came up front. The gamer thought that the hotheaded dimwitt would perform the same stunt on him again. He was ready of course, Samael could be deployed anytime after all and he could just as easily beat Jake up like the first time. Yet the elite didn't say any word and simply bowed his head down, with all the elites doing the same.

"We apologize for forcing our own missions onto you sir. We also apologize for using your resources and facilities despite getting abandoned. But Quinn is a dear friend of ours so we will be stubborn till the very end."

"Friend huh." Zeke was glad about two things.

The first was that the most prideful of the bunch was the one to initiate the apology. The second was how Jake worded it out; saying that Quinn was their friend. Both of which passed Zeke's standards who smiled as he gave a glance at the proud teacher of the elites. Heron.

"Okay. we'll be doing it the same as before. However, don't expect me to give you anything to use. The only thing you can rely on are whatever weapons and equipment you currently have., No more no less." Zeke furthered as the flames began rising all around the room.

The elites were also preparing themselves, with Heron finishing up the terrain change. Turning the whole area back to the one where they sparred. Then, one by one, Zeke's knights came out of the flames.

Just like the last time, Samael, Kayle, and Kezel were also summoned. Making them the final three bosses of the fight.

"Well then shall we begin?" Zeke suggested, with the elites looking like battle-hardened warriors. Composed and collected with determination in their eyes.

There was a dense air of silence that surrounded them. One which was unsettling in its calm. Just like any war, nobody wanted to make the first move that is, until the elites began.

Zane fired his most powerful ice spell from the get go. Catching all the [Conjures] off guard as the freezing came in the blink of an eye. With none of them expecting the outcome that froze them in place. This was further enhanced by Lizzie who first enhanced her own mana pool before pouring out half to Zane's spell.

Gawain then shot one down using his arrow, making the [Conjure] fly in mid air, only to be halted by Mirio who came out of nowhere. His quick movement was due to Gawain firing a second shot on him, making him fly as Red performed a quick heal on the elite. Reducing the healer's mana to half.

Mirio din't let this opportunity go to waste and punched the [Conjure] down the ground. Actiavting [Ring] right away which included only him, Jake who caught up with them, and the [Conjure].

"The only way we can beat them is to destroy them individually. No matter how strong they are, if we use our best binding spells on them, then Mirio and Jake could destroy a few before the others are dealt with. By that time, our defenders would've been able to create all the barriers needed for the fight."

This was the plan set up by Amare one which worked like a charm despite everyone being on edge. Zeke was amazed at their level of growth, considering that they were also making use of unconventional methods in order to gain the best results.

An enhancer who enhanced her own [Mana Pool] and [Mana Regeneration]. A warrior who willingly got shot at the back without second thought just to gain a burst of speed. Defenses being set up instead of attacking the [Conjures] that were still frozen. All of this amazed Zeke.

Indeed, there was no way for them to win if they scattered and fought individually. Especially with Samael, Kayle, and Kezel being present. In fact, Zane even caste the same spell again as soon as he had regenerated some back, doubling the effects of the freeze while Horus created [Mana Vines]. Monsters that suck out the mana of whatever being they latch on to.

"Heron I think you trained them too well." Zeke said to the [Dragon Morpher] through [Voice Chat].

"I did little for them master. They grew on their own merits and efforts." Heron said in reply, feeling proud of her students who were showing the fruits of all their hard work.

It didn't take long for Jake and Mirio to make the first [Conjure] reach its [Infernal] state. They didn't allow it to move much however. Even if it did transform, the momentum was still theirs and, within the [Ring], it's attributes are cut in half while both Jake and Mirio had their tripled. Hence both fired their ultimate moves, draining a considerable amount of their mana as the first [Infernal] went down.

"Yeah!" Jake shouted with Gawain sending the next one flying towards the [Ring]. Jake pierced through this [Conjures] body, slamming it to the ground as Mirio proceeded to beating it up.

They repeated this process five times over until, Zeke's [Conjures] finally got out. With Kezel also casting [Conjure] as it was, after all, a clone of Zeke. The sudden increase of enemies surprised Amare yet she didn't let this trouble her.

"Change to Beta!" She shouted, with Mirio and Jake finishing the sixth [Knight Conjure] as they went back to formation. This time it was Zilg's turn, throwing a large number of pebbles which he had prepared even before the fight began. Merlin followed up by using a wind spell to scatter them further.

"Detonate!" He casted, making explosions fill the room. Reaching even the ice enclosed main enemies who were finally able to get out.

"So that's what the barriers were for." Zeke said as he witnessed how the defenses shielded the elites from such a random and highly dangerous move.

Unfortunately for Kezel, the vines have sucked up most of its mana. Casting [Conjure] also drained a significant amount, leaving it with little options on the moves it could make. Gawain didn't let this opportunity pass up. He fired three quick arrows which were coated in [Pierce]. One landed on the forehead, while two landed on the heart area. These then exploded as Zilg also placed [Detonate] on these arrows.

"Omega!" Amare commanded as a shadow swiftly left their defenses. It was finally time for Kaguya to act, coating herself in [Oblivion] and using up all of her mana on [Multiplier].

She made a shadow whip which entangled Samael. The elite then proceeded to making an effort to throw away Samael. Yet the [Conjure] couldn't be easily moved. Hence Jake added up to the force, swinging his spear on its knees. Breaking his weapon from all the force he put on the move. Then, Miro followed up by stepping on Jake's back, leaping up and punching Samael on the face who was finally tipped off balance.

"HAAAAAA!" Kaguya shouted as she was finally able to make a swing, sending Samael flying as she attached it to herself.

The other [Conjures] were thus left without their ace. Amare didn't let this pass up. She didn't know how strong Samael actually was but she didn't intend to tire all his teammates out before they found out.

"Let's clean this up." She calmly said with the other members shouting in unison.

"YEAAAAAH!" Steadily, the elites destroyed Zeke's [Infernal Conjures]. It was an amazing sight, one which made Zeke think of actually testing them to the brink. Yet they had a deal and it was only the knights which they needed to defeat and Zeke wasn't about to break his promise.

"So you finally broke out of your shells." The gamer proudly thought, watching the fight reach its climax. Yet he was worried about one thing that is, the elite who chose to fight Samael all by herself.

Kaguya.
