Brief History:

The Kingdom of Moros was established in AE 2177 by King Bence Sar and Queen Agnes Geth, originating from a marginalized bloodline of the ruling emperors’ families. As branch family members from the two powerful empires, they found real love in their political marriage and then united to form a new kingdom. To show their dedication to the idea, they discarded their families’ names and took on a new one while announcing their independence. Their unique position and familial ties with both empires allowed them to remain independent and respected by their powerful neighbors at the start, thinking it was only a temporary thing for a young pair. All of it snowballed out of control later on when they had strong, magical children and discovered a rich CC mine that they managed to keep a secret for more than a century until it was too late to intervene.

The culture of Moros has become rich and deeply rooted in traditions that reflect a lifestyle from an ancient and rustic past of both parent empires, blending influences from both the Sar and Geth histories. The ruling family of Moros is renowned for its powerful wizards and witches, producing more than any other country compared to their population. This edge has contributed to the kingdom's stability and prosperity since its establishment.

Another key factor in the kingdom's success and peaceful relations with the Sar and Geth empires is the presence of one of the largest CC mines within its borders. These Cosmic Crystals are the essential source of magic, and by supplying both empires with CCs, Moros maintains a delicate balance of power and mutual protection.

The Kingdom of Roblesia

Royal Emblem

Year of Establishment: AE 1577AE - Age of Enlightenment - The time after the visit of the Six Gods. Leon was born in the year AE 3074. The years before their visit are called BE - Before Enlightenment

Type: MonarchyThe country has blood ties to both the Geth & Sar Empire.

Current ruler: Queen Nuen Roblesia IX

Religion: God Elyse's TeachingsThe God of Power.

Brief History:

The Kingdom of Roblesia traces its origins back to AE 1743 when multiple city-states, constantly at odds with each other, formed a Federation out of necessity for mutual protection and prosperity. Their decision came from their surroundings slowly melting into emerging superpowers, be it Ishillia or the Sar Empire. Despite their shared goals, internal strife and power struggles threatened to tear the Federation apart almost a year after its establishment.

It was not until the rise of Altus Roblesia, a charismatic and ambitious leader, that the Federation found stability. Altus seized control and established himself as the first true king of Roblesia, ruling with an iron fist. Under his reign, the Federation transitioned into a unified kingdom, with Altus as its undisputed ruler. Anyone questioning his decisions disappeared. The early years of the kingdom were marked by expansion and consolidation of power by any means necessary, a practice that made their western neighbor, the Sar Empire, look at them as they looked at Ishillia. Altus Roblesia led military campaigns to subdue neighboring territories that were yet to be subdued by others, gradually expanding the kingdom's borders and solidifying its influence in the region to its current state.

Roblesia's relationship with its neighbor, the Sar Empire, has been characterized by periods of tension and conflict, leading to skirmishes and border disputes over valuable resources and strategic locations. Yet, despite their aggressive nature, the Roblesia kingdom harbors a good relationship with its southern neighbors, the Tentian Theocracy. Their cooperation is more than a millennia-old by now, and since then, they have never fought against each other, standing as brothers and sisters whenever trouble came knocking.

Some notable incidents:

  • AE 1743 - Formation of the Roblesian Federation by multiple city-states seeking mutual protection and prosperity.
  • AE 1778 - 1805 - Reign of Altus Roblesia, the first king of Roblesia, who unified the Federation under his rule and initiated a period of expansion and consolidation.
  • AE 1832 - 1856 - The War of the Western Borders A series of conflicts with the Sar Empire over disputed territories along the western borders of Roblesia. The war ended inconclusively, with both sides agreeing to a temporary ceasefire.
  • AE 1899 - 1912 - The Reign of Queen Isadora Roblesia II A period of internal reforms and cultural flourishing. Queen Isadora strengthened Roblesia's infrastructure and promoted arts and literature, mostly to honor previous battles and foster 'Hero Worship.'
  • AE 1967 - 1975 - The Sar-Roblesian War A major conflict sparked by renewed territorial disputes and conflicting claims to the same iron resources. The war ended with a treaty establishing new borders and trade agreements between the two powers.
  • AE 2098 - 2110 - The Alliance of the Twin Thrones. Facing external threats from the Sar and Ishillian Empires, Queen Elara Roblesia III and High Priestess Lysandra of the Tentian Theocracy forged a strategic alliance known as the Alliance of the Twin Thrones. This unprecedented alliance saw both realms pooling their military and magical resources to repel future incursions. The alliance not only secured the borders of both kingdoms but also paved the way for cultural exchange and mutual prosperity.
  • AE 2271 - 2283 - The Pact of Eternal Friendship. In the wake of a devastating plague that swept through both the Kingdom of Roblesia and the Tentian Theocracy, Queen Isadora Roblesia V and High Priest Marcus of the Tentian Theocracy convened a summit to address the crisis. Recognizing the need for mutual support and solidarity in times of hardship, they ratified the Pact of Eternal Friendship. This vow solidified a commitment to mutual aid and cooperation in times of crisis, establishing joint medical research initiatives, sharing resources to combat disease outbreaks, and fostering exchange of healing mages to strengthen bonds between the two kingdoms.
