Spotted By Grindelwald And Went To Hogwarts

Chapter 143: “Illusion”

Chapter 143: “Illusion”

“Acupunctinternus!” Sean cast two spells without hesitation, and under Hermione’s gaze, the spells hit the two professors.

“Sean! Are you crazy?!” Hermione screamed.

“Acupunctinternus!” Sean turned his head, and another spell hit Hermione.

The three wailed in pain, and then their figures twisted and disappeared into the air.

“At least get things right when you are trying to lie.” Sean said in a deep voice.

The scenery around him was distorted for a while, and when he opened his eyes again, Sean stood in front of Hagrid’s hut again. He looked up at the sky, and the sky was brighter.

Less than ten minutes had passed. Just now, everything was an illusion.

When the fake Hermione ran over, he felt that something was wrong. Why would the professors bring a student here when the castle was under attack? Professor McGonagall has always paid great attention to the safety of students.

In addition, he never told Hermione and Professor McGonagall the names of his Winged Demon.

“Illusionary magic? However, this illusion is a bit troubling.” Sean raised his wand vigilantly, and Naja had already wrapped around him.

Fang is still injured, but the wound on his abdomen is getting better, and under the potion, the wound is almost healed.

The enemy is not that powerful, and, likely, it can only affect one person at a time. At that time, they did see that Fang was seriously injured, but it was a bit strange that an ordinary dog could escape with such serious injuries.

At that time, Sean thought it was because of Fang’s strong physique and eagerness that made him survive. Now it seems that Fang was indeed injured, but the injury in his abdomen was actually an illusion.

Hermione did leave with Dave. The enemy didn’t let Sean and Hermione fall into the hallucination simultaneously, which shows that the enemy’s ability is limited and can only affect one person at a time.

The purpose of the enemy weaving the illusion is obvious. Letting Sean enter the Forbidden Forest means that there are other things in the Forbidden Forest or that the enemy has extra abilities that can be used. This can be seen from the fact that Hagrid has not yet escaped.

Sean remained vigilant and then kept running Occlumency wildly in his mind. Occlumency is probably useful because he could break out so easily from the illusion.

He didn’t look at the Forbidden Forest anymore. The illusion just now seemed to appear when he was staring at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

However, it is not a good choice to return to the castle now. Hagrid’s situation is unknown, and the other is that the enemy’s ability is weird. Sean is worried about what will happen if he goes down the road.

The enemy has been luring him into the Forbidden Forest, which means that his attack ability is very poor, and he just needs to wait here for the professors to come over.

A few minutes later, a figure walked out from the Forbidden Forest.

Naja had been watching the Forbidden Forest and issued a warning sound. Sean quickly turned his head and glanced. His pupils shrank slightly.

That’s Hagrid.

Hagrid was wearing a coat that had never changed for years. His tall and strong figure was staggering, and his movements were extremely awkward as if he didn’t know how to control his body at all.

“Is it illusion again? No, it seems not.” Sean frowned and when he looked at the Forbidden Forest, the sense of transparent distortion in the air did not appear.

Hagrid looked lifeless and dazed. Sean also released Pudding. Pudding’s hypnotic ability is useful when it is unclear whether the enemy is Hagrid.

The tall figure got closer and closer. Sean narrowed his eyes and was shocked to find that Hagrid’s pupils had turned pearly white.

“Help me…” Hagrid stood where he was and let out a dry, emotionless voice.

“Hagrid, are you okay?” Sean was worried about being pulled into the illusion again by the enemy.

He turned sideways and looked at Hagrid from the corner of his eye. Pudding and Naja guarded him vigilantly.

“I won’t use my ability on you,” Hagrid’s voice was broken, “I just want you to help me.”

Sean said, “Help you?”

“I’m weak. I can only use this method.”

Sean secretly poked Pudding, and he knew what it meant. He bent his body and moved slowly.

“I can help you if you want, but you must tell me the truth. Are you still occupying my friend’s body?”

Hagrid said blankly, “Only in this way can I communicate with you.”

Sean frowned.

He continued calmly, “Who are you?”

There was finally some distress in that voice, “I, I—my former master called me the basilisk.”

Sean has heard of this animal. Which is a magical serpent that used to be distributed all over the world, but after being hunted by wizards, this animal is on the verge of extinction. Salazar Slytherin’s wand uses the horn of the basilisk as the core.

But Sean had never heard of the basilisk having the ability to weave illusions, and this ability had never been recorded.

Hagrid continued blankly, “That was before. Everything was weird when I woke up.”

Sean thought about it and said loudly, “The condition for our communication is to let my friends be free.”

Hagrid paused and finally said hesitantly, “Very well.”

Immediately afterward, Sean saw that Hagrid raised his head suddenly. He opened his mouth, and his pearly white pupils disappeared. Then, a somewhat illusory thick figure slowly came out of Hagrid’s mouth.

It seemed to take a long time to get out completely.

It was a snake with long horns on its head and a dark green gemstone on its forehead.

However, the moment it was fully coming out. Sean raised his wand, and Pudding’s pupils turned black.

“Acupunctinternus!”
