PATH OF THE STAR HUNTER

Chapter 524

524 Chapter 524 Birthday

Like every morning, Desmond woke up before the first light of dawn. On any other day, Desmond would have been the first to wake up since no one in this house was a particularly early riser, but today something different happened.

To begin with, Desmond had been awakened not by his biological clock alerting him but by a strange sensation of wetness and suction that brought him out of the dream world. The first thing Desmond saw upon waking up was the sheet over his body rising and falling rhythmically as that pleasurable sensation of suction and moisture grew stronger.

Somehow getting an idea of ??what was going on, Desmond lifted the sheet to reveal the semi-naked Claire, who didn’t stop greedily sucking on the treat that had popped into her mouth. Aside from giving Desmond an intense look of love, Claire did nothing but continue sucking and licking with an almost hungry drive.

In the vigor of the morning, it didn’t take long for Desmond to come, quickly filling Claire’s mouth with a thick white liquid which she swallowed devotedly. Finishing swallowing, Claire pulled away from Desmond, sitting upright on the bed as she licked her lips.

Despite the extremely erotic appearance Claire was giving, Desmond knew that she wasn’t really a big fan of what she was doing, which led to his next question. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”

Claire forced the bitter taste down her throat before she answered. “I knew you wouldn’t remember; you never do... Happy birthday, Desmond.”

A genuine “Oh, that’s right” flashed through Desmond’s head as he realized it was already that day of the year. Claire had pointed it out with some certainty; Desmond never remembered his birthday. That Desmond was always busy was part of the reason, although Claire believed that the matter had more to do with the death of his parents than anything else.

Strangely, Desmond didn’t get that empty feeling he got every year, and for the first time in a long time, the mention of his birthday brought a smile to his face. Though, of course, with the little service Claire gifted him as soon as he woke up, it would be pretty hard for Desmond to be in a bad mood.

Wanting to get the bitter taste out of her mouth, Claire headed to the bathroom to rinse her mouth and brush her teeth, but she didn’t leave the room without saying a few things to Desmond first. “You should wear something comfortable. Choose whatever you like; the girls and I plan to get you out of town today.”

.....

As Claire’s perky butt vanished beyond the door, Desmond retorted. “Do you want me to wear something formal?”

Claire lightly laughed and replied. “Don’t worry about those things, just wear what you like best. You’ll be out walking around with two beauties on each arm; I don’t think your outfit will make any difference.”

Desmond couldn’t help but comment to himself. “It looks like we’ll be passing through crowded places, though she’s right, I could be dressed in the best this world has to offer, and I still gonna draw hateful glances.”

Truth be told, Desmond didn’t want to ruin whatever surprise the girls had in store for him, but he also didn’t want to screw it up just by choosing the wrong change of clothes, to begin with. Still, since Claire had already said it that way, Desmond chose his favorite set of robes.

The set of martial robes was form-fitting, starting at the torso; with its jet black color and blue vine patterns, it looked vigorous and elegant, not entirely hiding the physical power Desmond hid beneath.

Aside from some silver accents like the buttons on the collar, the robe set wasn’t incredibly special. Still, this was Desmond’s favorite because it was a gift from Mei Fei Long and Miao Xiauyue, whom he remembered fondly.

Due to the particular style of this set of robes, Desmond could look intense, manly, and imposing without seeming excessive or out of place; it must be said that Mei Fei Long and Miao Xiauyue had exquisite taste.

Since it was his birthday and he wanted to enjoy it to the fullest, Desmond skipped morning practice and went straight to the dining room. To Desmond’s surprise, someone greeted him with open arms as soon as he opened the door to his room.

Although she seemed one step away from falling asleep again, Sasha used all the supernatural strength that her love for Desmond gave her to get up early and receive her beloved with a kiss and a hug so that she could wish him a happy birthday.

The familiar raspberry flavor of Sasha’s lips filled Desmond’s heart with tender feelings and a sense of nostalgia; it seemed like only yesterday that he had met her. Tired of waiting for her turn, Revna shot out of her shadow and straight to Desmond’s back, which she hugged before kissing him on the cheek.

With Revna in her tight yoga clothes and Sasha in just a nightgown, there was a lot of softness surrounding Desmond’s body, but his attention was focused on both girls’ sweet voices and displays of affection.

“Happy birthday, Desmond.”

“Happy Birthday, Master”

Was it possible to feel too much love? Was there a limit to such a thing? Desmond didn’t think so, not on days like this, where the love pouring over him was so beautiful, warm, and overwhelming. The warmth Desmond felt seeing the girls smile at him with loving gazes didn’t feel like something that could be quantified.

Parting from Sasha and Revna, both slightly flushed, Desmond was surprised to see a woman waiting behind Sasha. Carrying her always placid expression with her, Cecilia stepped forward, stood on tiptoe, and kissed Desmond on the forehead without further ado.

Saturn colliding with Jupiter wouldn’t have caused as much chaos as that gesture did in Desmond’s mind. Ignoring Desmond and the girls’ shocked expressions, Cecilia just added. “I wish you find the necessary light in your home and never get lost in the dark. Happy birthday, Desmond.”

As soon as she finished saying her part, Cecilia left with calm steps; as usual, she already had a book in hand ready for reading; but a keener eye would note that there was a faint blush on her cheeks.

The first person to speak was Claire, who had just returned from the bathroom just in time to see Cecilia’s gesture. “What was that?”

Although stunned for a moment, Desmond knew precisely what had happened and its reason. “It is a tradition of her world. On the birthday of a loved one, it is customary to kiss him on the forehead and express a good wish they have for that person. It seems to me that the context is slightly religious, something to do with prayers and blessings, but I don’t know the exact details.”

“Sometimes I forget that she comes from another world; although the religious aspect doesn’t surprise me that much, she certainly has the air of a saint.” Revna commented with an interested smile.

Desmond shook his head and answered. “You better not use that word with her; it brings back nothing but bad memories, same with religion.”

Having already lost that modesty with the girls at home, Claire began to change in the room without caring about the presence of others, but as she did, her expression turned somewhat sad upon hearing what Desmond said. With a reminiscent expression, Claire commented. “I remember she became interested in books on religion and its history in our world, but she quickly became disappointed and stopped asking for books on the subject.”

Remembering many of the things he saw during his time on Serefía and some of the darker things in the history of religion on earth, Desmond understood Cecilia’s disappointment; both cases were not too different from each other.

“I think we should forget about those things; for now, she doesn’t seem interested in being tied to her past either.” Sasha added.

Although Claire agreed with Sasha, she was still upset about one particular detail of the current situation. “Putting that aside, you two should get dressed at once, or we’ll be late.”

As if she remembered something, Sasha hurried back to her room, where a commotion could be heard. Revna, by her side, simply covered her entire body with shadows, and in a matter of seconds, she had changed her outfit, modeling a beautiful black summer dress with a slight gothic tint. With her hourglass figure, fair skin, and explosive curves, Revna wouldn’t lose to any supermodel.

Although slightly envious of Revna’s ability to change, Claire still couldn’t help but think that Revna basically stripped and changed in front of other people; they just couldn’t see it due to the curtain of shadows that enveloped her. Following the previous train of thought, Claire asked. “You don’t do that in front of other people, do you?”

Revna seemed to understand Claire’s concerns and responded. “I wouldn’t be comfortable with the idea since I can still see out of my shadows; I only do this when I’m alone or in Master’s presence.”

While Claire wanted to comment on how Revna kept calling Desmond her Master. Still, Claire stopped herself; that argument wasn’t one she could win. Revna just wouldn’t budge on the subject.
