Never Judge

947 Chapter 947

At exactly four in the morning the next day, Doctor Santos helped deliver two beautiful babies into the world.

Christopher Reyes was born first. He looked just like his father and older brother, but his demeanor was quite different. Where Yoyo had been a calm child at birth Christopher cried the moment he entered the world.

"You'll have your hands full with these two." The doctor teased Cedric as she handed him his younger son.

Five minutes later, Christina Reyes was born. Unlike her brothers, she looked more like her mother with her fair skin and small face. The moment Cedric saw the little girl he already knew that she would grow up getting everything she desired and more.

He also knew for a fact that with two older brothers, who would most likely be powerful men someday, men would have quite a challenge winning her attention.

He smiled at the thought of his children growing up, as he thought of the future he noticed that his little princess was yawning. Unlike her older brothers she was much calmer, an attitude she would carry when she grew up.

"We'll take your wife to the recovery room." The doctor said with a smile as soon as the operation was over.

Cedric reluctantly handed the twins over to the nurses as they were cleaned and taken care of.

As Cedric waited for Adrianna to recover, Yoyo came running into the hospital with his grandparents.

"Daddy!" Yoyo said happily as he ran up and hugged his father. "How is mommy? How are my little brother and sister? What are their names? Can I meet them?"

Cedric and the grandparents laughed as the young boy rained down question after question on his father.

"Was I this bad?" Cedric asked Emilio Reyes, who was standing with Adrianna's parents.

"Yes, sometimes worse." Emilio said with a deep chuckle. "The apple truly does not fall far from the tree." He said with a grin.

Cedric smiled at his father as he returned his attention to the little boy that was hugging him tightly.

"Well, Yoyo, your mom will need some time to recover, but we can already meet your little brother and sister if you want." Cedric told his son as he picked the boy up in his arms.

"Yes. What are their names, daddy?" Yoyo asked as Cedric made his way to the nursery.

"Well, your little brother is named Christopher while your little sister is Christina." Cedric said as he pushed the doors to the nursery open and they were welcomed by several nurses.

Since this hospital was more private, there was no glass that blocked the children from their guests.

Cedric carried Yoyo in between two cribs where his little siblings were sound asleep.

"Hello Christof, Hello Chistin." Yoyo said, unable to mention his sibling's full names.

Everyone smiled as Yoyo waved at the two sleeping children.

Just as Cedric was enjoying his time with his family, Dave entered the room with a frown.

Cedric knew that it was important and urgent or else Dave wouldn't have interrupted his time with his family.

He carefully handed Yoyo to his father before explaining to his son that he had to go.

"Do you think you can watch over your siblings and wait for mommy while daddy deals with something?" Cedric asked his son.

Yoyo bravely nodded.

"Thank you, Yoyo." Cedric said as he patted his son on the head before giving his dad a nod and exiting the nursery.

As the door closed behind him, Cedric massaged his temples and took a deep breath. He thought he had made sure that everything was arranged before he had left the Capital, but he understood that urgent matters were unavoidable.

"What is it?" Cedric asked Dave as he tried to control the annoyance in his tone.

He knew it wasn't his assistant's fault. The young man was simply doing his job.

"Mr. Reyes, your cousin Ace called." Dave said with a frown knowing that his boss wouldn't be happy to hear the news he had. "According to him the Esteves family is getting impatient. They want to talk to you."

Cedric frowned at the news but nodded as he took out his phone and dialed the number.

After a few rings someone answered at the other end of the line, and to Cedric's surprise it wasn't who he expected.

"You must be Mr. Cedric Reyes." A woman said.

"I am, but who am I speaking to?" Cedric asked, confused as to why someone else was answering his call.

"My older brother is quite busy at the moment, my name is Angelina. I'm temporarily in charge of the Esteves family." She informed Cedric.

The new development caught Cedric off guard and made him quite uncomfortable, but he wasn't about to let Angelina learn about it.

"Miss Angelia, according to my cousin Ace you wanted me to call?" Cedric asked the woman, affording her the same respect he would have given to any male member of her family.

"I did, I did. According to my brother he made a deal with you for a certain Lucius Ting?" Angelina asked.

Cedric knew that she didn't have to ask that question, but he decided to play her game.

"Yes, our deal was that we would become allies as long as I delivered Lucius to the Esteves family in one piece." Cedric answered.

"And do you have him?" Angelina asked.

"I do." Cedric answered plainly.

"When will you deliver him to us?" Angelina's tone had a hint of a threat in it making Cedric worry.

"When I am done with him." Cedric answered confidently.

"Mr. Reyes, I am not as patient as my brother." Angelina informed him. "I have a score to settle with that man, the sooner you can deliver him to us, the happier I will be."

"We will do our best to finish up here and send him to you." Cedric assured her.

"Good, till next time then." Angelina said as she dropped the call.

Cedric was frustrated when the call ended. He handed the phone back to Dave and gave him one instruction.

"Tell Ace to find out everything about Angelina." Cedric said before returning to the nursery.
