Neurolink System in the Modern World

Chapter 389 New Memory

A huge realization struck me all of a sudden. I had considered these possibilities before, but her words just confirmed them.

If this turned out to be true, toss aside the idea of being some god of this world. I could evolve beyond that, perhaps even outclassing Adam in power when he fought with those powerful blue humanoids.

No, I'm quite certain that the ability to control time, space, reality, light, and wavelength would make me unparalleled in this world. The only concern after acquiring those powers would be how to supply them with my Mind Power. I'm sure that using all of them would require a massive amount of it.

Then an idea crossed my mind. Speaking of power, there was still that door I saw.

"What about the door?" I inquired. This was one of the questions lingering in my mind. I'm certain that unlocking it would grant me a massive power-up.

If the old man (grandpa) spoke the truth, the door could only be open when I've pushed myself to the limit. I haven't seen that door again since then, suggesting I'm still a long way from reaching my potential.

Or maybe, the presence of my system means the way to unlock it was different.

"You haven't opened it yet?" she asked, sounding a bit puzzled. Then, her expression shifted, as if a realization dawned on her.

"Maybe you haven't reach your full potential yet ?"

Just like I thought, her idea matched mine. I haven't reached my limit, so the door won't even show. It just reflect how big my potential was compared to others.

'Okay, let's ask her more questions,' I muttered to myself. She was being cooperative right now, so I needed to gather more information from her.

The Zol Clan posed a big threat. Whether I ignored them or not, they would affect my life in some way.

"What's your next move? Where are you hiding?"

"I can't tell you the exact location ," She shook her head.

"Can't you say it?" I inquired, wanting to know if she was restricted by some skill or rule.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"No, but that place exists in a different space, so you won't be able to go there even if you wanted to," she replied.

"A different space? Does Zely have the ability to control space?" I inquired further, realizing I had underestimated her.

To think she could create her own personal space, and unlike Eun-ha's storage, this place could actually support life.

"No, she can't. That place is a special one she discovered a long time ago. I don't know how to access it, and she's the only one who can allow entry and leave. This is also why she's confident in going to war. She intends to hide there until she gathers more members and make them stronger," she explained.

'That's genius,' I muttered to myself.

I had underestimated her. I thought she would go to war without considering the consequences, but she was smarter than I thought. With that special space, she could attack Cerebrum, and the other party would be helpless if she decided to hide.

As I asked more about this secret space, her words painted a vivid picture that left me amazed. She described it as a huge space, big enough for three Seoul Cities. This hidden gem had its own ecosystem with tall mountains, green trees, and winding rivers.

"How many people does she have now?"

"Inside? I don't know the exact number, but when I came there, I saw almost 50 of them," she replied.

"50? That many? I thought the Zol Clan members were almost eradicated?"

"That's what I thought too. But many of them have been trap on that place. When Zely hibernated, they had no way to escape, so they ended up making a home there. The Zol Clan rarely have offspring , so that number is actually pretty small considering how many centuries they've been there."

"So they were indirectly saved because they were trapped there?" I sighed, finding it ironic that their survival during their clan purge was due to misfortune. However, it also crossed my mind that the humans might have won because the Zol Clan was incomplete at the time.

"Honey, I don't want a war to happen either. But I can't convince Zyden to come with me. I'm sure he would lock me up if I say something against her," she expressed her thoughts. She sounded like a young mother dealing with a troublesome son, unsure of how to handle the situation.

"You spoiled him too much," I sighed.

"Honey.." She laugh softly.

"Why are you laughing?" I questioned, noticing she was blushing and tearing up, not out of sadness but from happiness.

"I just remembered how you always scolded me for spoiling him too much," she replied with a smile filled with longing.

My heart skip a beat after seeing her refreshing smile.

''Calm yourself, don't be a simp,' I scolded myself for being swayed by her.

"Hey, let's set things first . I don't care about our past at all . And I would never accept that his my son . You got that ? If you wont accept this , then I wont help you. " I warned her with a cold voice.

"It's alright, we will just make memories again together," she replied with a smile and leaned on me.

"What are you doing?" I raised my eyebrows, gently pressing my fingertips against her shoulder to stop the impending kiss.

"You said you'd forget about the past, right?" she whispered, her voice carrying a genuine tone.

As she spoke, her eyes softened, revealing a depth of affection, and her breath became heavier with anticipation, hinting at a longing desire between us.

"So let's just make another memory," she whispered, and for some reason, something inside me yearned to kiss her soft lips .

'That's right, if I want to move on, then I need to treat her like any other woman. So I need to do this,' I muttered to myself, justifying my next action.

"You'll just become one of harem, and I won't treat you better than others. Do you still want to do it?" I asked, maintaining a stern tone.

"I don't. But can I make a request?" she whispered seductively.

"What is it?"

"Can you turn a bit more chubby? It's really weird that you have our son's face," she replied with an embarrassed look.

"You have weird fetish," I sighed to myself.
