328  Copper Shield Talisman

Jian and Yu Yang rushed to the registration hall when Jian learned about the cracks. As they got inside the registration hall there focus was on the life tokens on the disciples who are attending the competition.

As Yu Yang has informed, all Life tokens have cracks on them and they have lost some luster.

"System, What is going on? Why all tokens are cracking?"

" Host, I don't know, I can think that the second round of the competition has started and every disciple is affected. But you don't need to worry the tokens have started to go back to normal."

Jian immediately activated star gaze and focus on the life tokens and as the system has informed him. The tokens have started to mend themselves.

Seeing this he finally sighed in relief and told Yu Yang to not worry and go back to do his work. He once again looked at the tokens and shook his head and sat down.

He was happy that the second round of the competition has started but now he has worried because he couldn't see what type of competition was going on but he understood one thing that as they were teleported to new location they all were affected.

Now since he can't see the competition he can only wait for his disciples to be kicked out of the competition to know about the competition.

He decided since he has time he will focus on practicing professions. He has already told Ye Fang and Yu Yang to keep an eye on the location were disciples will be teleported when they return.

He has already learned all about basic of Talisman and he also has practiced all basic inscription and now he can finally start learning the one Star Talisman.

He immediately started to go through the one Star Talisman the system has provided to see which talisman he should start with.

And after going through list of one Star Talisman he immediately decided to practice a defence type talisman because it would be good for disciples to have defensive means.

So the talisman he decided to work on is called Copper Shield Talisman. It is one of the best talisman if successful created with good materials then the talisman would be able to protect them from the attack of a Early Foundation building realm cultivators.

So he immediately started to prepare the material. He doesn't any material. Some of the materials are one Star herbs and combination of the beast blood. And it would be great if he would be able to gather the blood of the beast that are good in defence as compared to other beasts.

So he started to gather the material, for the talisman he needed the blood of the one Star beasts. So he has already informed the disciples who will go on hunting mission to preserve the blood.

So it took him only few minutes to gather all materials and as the canvas to draw the to draw the talisman he as already created papers which can hold the strength of the grade one Talisman.

After gathering everything he looked at the tokens and saw that most of them have completely recovered and a few of them were still recovering.

After calming himself he immediately started to create the ink which can be use to create the talisman. It took him only fifteen minutes and final after creating the ink he immediately started to draw the talisman.

To draw the talisman one need a brush but since he doesn't have any he has decided to create it using the hair of a core formation realm beast.

Now it was time to draw the talisman. The Copper Shield Talisman contains five inscription and each inscription is very very intriguing and each one interconnects to form a main inscription which is the Copper Shield Talisman.

Jian was not worried about the five inscription, he was worried about connecting them to form the talisman because he would to balance all five inscription and then perfectly balance the newly formed talisman. Then only he would be able to successfully create the talisman.

He immediately dipped the brush in the ink and started to draw the talisman. He easily completed the first inscription but when he started to draw the second inscription, he has to overlap and connect it with the first inscription but as he was doing it he noticed that the balance was off and as he expected the paper got ruined.

He noticed that he also stated feel tired, but he was not that tired so he immediately took the next paper and started once again but he was only able to finish the half of the second inscription before the paper was destroyed.

After that he noticed that he was more tired and understood because he already knows that he will feel mental fatigue so he was not worried. But now he knows that mostly he can try one more time before he is completely exhausted.

So he immediately started his third attempt but he still failed when he was about to complete the second inscription. Now he was completely exhausted and he knew that he can only start again after he completely recovers.

He immediately started he breathing exercise so that he can recover why paying attention to the the life tokens. He saw that the the tokens were shining and some of them have started to crack and immediately repair.

He immediately knew that the second trial has started and disciples are performing well. So immediately focused on recovering and thinking that he should get ready to go to the sect tower so that he can watch the 5th trial.

In Only 10 minutes he completely recovered and after recovering he immediately started to refine the talisman. He started his 4th attempt and this time he was successfully able to draw the second inscription but now he had to balance the three inscription perfectly so he was able to draw the third inscription halfway before the whole paper collapsed.

This time he immediately didn't started to refine the talisman. He started to go through the process to draw the talisman and immediately pointed out the mistakes he is making and Once again he started his fifth time and this time he was able to draw 3 inscriptions and on the 4th one his concentration was not that great cause he was nearing his exhaustion.

So he understood that if he wants to refine the talisman then he should draw it in one go otherwise it will disturb his concentration and the balance will be not there. So for the 6th time when he started to draw the talisman he didn't hesitate and continue to draw till he was able to complete the fourth inscription and slowly he started to draw the fifth inscription.

He was highly concentrating because he didn't wanted to the paper be destroyed. So he completely concentrated and slowly he completed the last inscription on the paper and finally he was able to draw the Copper Shield Talisman.

He didn't hesitate and immediately took the paper and started to send the Qi to infuse the paper and in few seconds the paper disappeared meaning that he have used the talisman and a huge Shield appeared in front of him shining in copper and he was able to see a beasts drawn on the shield.

He was shocked to see that the beasts that where on the shield where the beast he has taken the blood from and he had not expected that the inscriptions will work like that.

But when he looked closer on the shield he felt that something was missing. Because he has seen the simulation from the system and he saw that the shield was more physical than the shield from his talisman, so he immediately asked the system what is the difference?.

The system immediately replied "Host even though you have successfully drawn the talisman, the concentration of Qi it can hold is not enough meaning that even though all 5 inscriptions are balance they are not perfectly balance to hold huge amount of Qi.

After the System's explained him, he understood where he was wrong and he knew that how he was he will be able to correct the talisman and successfully refine it in the way the system has shown him. So he immediately relax and started to recover because now he was going to focus on perfectly refining the talisman.
